Having lived in Blois for 7 months, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Del Re, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The welcome was warm, the service attentive and professional, with a genuine desire to please. For starters, an incredible appetizer platter. Then came the main course, and everything was delicious: quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and cuisine prepared with passion. Each dish was carefully crafted, generous, and perfectly executed. You can taste the expertise and love of Italian gastronomy. The setting is simply magnificent, with a superb view of the castle that makes the moment even more special (especially for a date). This is not a tourist trap, especially considering it's right across from the castle: here, you come for quality, authenticity, and the true pleasure of good food. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant in Blois. Bravo to the entire team for this wonderful experience; I will definitely be back!

Excellent meal on a very pleasant terrace, just outside the castle.

Very few choices on the menu, which is a good sign. The food is excellent, and the small terrace behind the restaurant with its view of the Loire is magnificent.
