We booked at the last minute. The lovely weather made us want to have lunch on the terrace. Not easy with a family of nine! My choice of this restaurant delighted everyone, young and old. The dishes were very tasty and the value for money was excellent. And the service was top-notch. Well done to the whole team! It's a shame to leave Sare. We would have come back.

Lovely place to stop for a meal. The service is wonderful and accommodating, the setting is beautiful. The food was delicious and the local fish was ethereal. I’m glad I had the crème brûlée even though I was full as it was delicious. I’ll be back for the food, the see ice and the views.

It's one of the best restaurants I've been to on this whole trip here in the French Basque Country. Don't miss it! The staff are wonderful, the food is splendid, and the place is absolutely beautiful. Seriously, don't miss it!

Friendly place, excellent local cuisine... (Kintoa pork, baby squid, etc.) A bonus for the very professional, smiling waitress with a great sense of humor. I recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic! Great food, great drinks, my stomach is feeling great! A special mention for the very pleasant waitress (see you at the wedding!). Excellent value for money, nothing to complain about.

31/10/2025: A truly excellent value for money option for a stay in Sare, with easy and free parking around the hotel. Impeccable service, a spacious and well-appointed room, and absolute peace and quiet. Although somewhat dated, this hotel easily ticks all the boxes for a great stay for couples or families.
