Went here with a group of French friends - a really enjoyable experience. Set in a troglodyte cave, the restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We were given a warm welcome and all the staff were friendly and efficient. The fixed meal is based around Fouees - a local dish of 'breads' filled with savoury fillings, and is delicious.
Open Friday and Saturday evenings, and Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes.
I have no hesitation in recommending
5 stars is not enough to rate this evening that we spent at the fouées de Grézillé. A table located near the oven and therefore the boss who manages the cooking of the fouées at the top! Service with a smile, with explanations for each dish. We really had a great evening. It is really essential to know this address and the owners. The atypical setting in the caves, and the smiling and warm welcome. Go and have a great meeting there!

Tout commence par un accueil charmant et très convivial et s’en suit une délicieuse succession de mets parfaitement sourcés !
Tout est parfait … les rillettes, les plats, le gratin de fromage, le crémet et cela jusqu’à l’infusion excellente provenant d’une excellente maison de thé d’Angers :)
