Truffière des Mérigots sur Gabillou

We were a group of motorcyclists who received a very warm welcome. Laetitia and Eric shared their passion for truffles with us. During our stay, we were able to sample various specialties and a delightful array of desserts, lovingly and passionately prepared to tantalize our taste buds. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, ensuring restful nights in the peaceful Périgord countryside. The presentation and tour of the truffle orchard were very informative and answered all our questions. A truly immersive stay at a very welcoming, informative, and delicious guesthouse. A wonderful discovery :-) During our stay in the Périgord region, we stopped at the Mérigots truffle farm. A truly great experience!! A lovely presentation of the estate and the truffle-growing profession. Followed by a superb truffle tasting experience at lunchtime.

We spent a night at La Truffière during a very busy day and received a wonderfully warm welcome. The dinner was convivial and enjoyable, the room spotless and very comfortable, and the breakfast plentiful and delicious. Even though we didn't have time to fully enjoy the place, a big thank you for this warm and attentive welcome!

What a delightful discovery: a charming, peaceful place, with hosts passionate about nature and its treasures. Our truffle-hunting initiation stay was a resounding success! From the affectionate and attentive presence of Umi, their dog, to the fruitful truffle hunt with Laetitia, and the famous cooking class with Eric, everything was wonderful. Yum, we feasted!
