Everything was remarkably refined, from the selection of sashimi to the sushi served on a wooden board that perfectly showcased the exceptional freshness of the fish. A wonderful experience at this restaurant! We dined at the counter and appreciated the ambiance and tranquility of the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our sushi platter and sashimi platter, which we complemented with several maki rolls. The chef took the time to chat with us and provide explanations when needed. The service was attentive. I'll definitely return on my next trip to Paris to explore the menu more thoroughly.

Very calm and serene environment with excellent quality sushi. Lots of sushi restaurants have rice with a natural sweetness and more empowering flavors from the fish, but this restaurant is pleasantly neutral in their flavors, which lets you enjoy the textures and the harmony between all the ingredients of the dish. We each got the sushi special (plus some extras, which were ootoro and unagi). The squid with shiso leaf was my favorite out of the platter. The squid is fresh and crunchy, and the shiso leave really adds to the flavor. This place is very busy so a reservation is strongly recommended!

BITTERLY DISAPPOINTED: This is my Japanese mother's favorite restaurant in Paris. I ordered 6 salmon sushi and 2 tamago sushi (€38 total). Although the rice was excellent, the salmon was sinewy, making it difficult to eat properly... Did the chef think I was a gaijin or something? The service is clearly not the same for takeout orders and dine-in...

A very pleasant dinner at the counter: Victor prepared delicious sushi and chirashi for us. The fish was very fresh and excellent, and the overall quality was impeccable. The setting is very intimate and welcoming, as you can watch the two chefs preparing the dishes right in front of you, which also provides an opportunity for friendly conversation. The service is cheerful and pleasant. Thank you for this lovely time!

I had lunch at this little restaurant one day. The welcome was warm, and the service was quick. The sushi was delicious, the fish was of very good quality, and the miso soup was fragrant. The atmosphere is exotic and true to the Japanese sushi-ya style! Also, the waiter I served was very handsome. It goes without saying that I will return with great pleasure.

01/07/2026: A great find at Tae Dong Gwan! I ordered the chicken ramyeon and really enjoyed the noodles—they were perfectly cooked, with a lovely texture and delicious flavor. The chicken was also excellent: tender, cooked to perfection, and melt-in-your-mouth. To go with it, I had a plum iced tea, which was also very good, refreshing, and fragrant. One small drawback, though: there were far too many ice cubes, which meant there wasn't much of a drink left. Also, the sauce seemed a little powdery and slightly less harmonious than the rest of the dish. This is a minor point, however, as the overall experience was delicious and makes me want to come back and try other dishes on the menu. Special mention goes to the waitress, who was incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. A great Korean restaurant to discover in Paris!

The quality is consistent every time we visit. The staff is always welcoming and very friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. 03/07/2026: We were the only guests in the restaurant and enjoyed a fabulous experience at this upscale establishment. The food was plentiful and excellent, the portions generous, and the owner delightful. The only downside: the excessive prices of the drinks.
05/06/2026: We came this evening as a family of four. Everything was perfect. High-quality food, a lovely little show (no need for conversation, we were completely captivated by the chef's performance). The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. We will gladly return! Thank you very much.
