Out of at least 10 restaurants visited during our stay in Corsica, we fell in love with this restaurant where local products are expertly enhanced. We’ll definitely come back! P.s.: the boss is really great!

While passing through Calvi we came across this magnificent restaurant with many excellent Corsican specialties. Very beautiful setting, good atmosphere, very good meal. We recommend.

Questo è un ennesimo ritorno, in genere si torna dove si è stati bene in precedenza. La gestione è cambiata: più carne e meno pesce. Dopo un bel tagliere, personalmente in realtà ho preferito assaggiare i cannelloni che mi ispiravano parecchio in quanto - non i soliti - ma con le erbette: veramente ottimi. Anche gli altri commensali che avevano scelto le linguine ai gamberoni sono stati soddisfattissimi. Il pasto si conclude sempre con il dessert. La tipica scelta corsa è il fiadone, ma io che ho optato per la torta di castagne sono stata non solo soddisfatta, di più e molto meravigliata: il mio piatto ne conteneva una fetta enorme, pari a un quarto di torta, soffice soffice e squisita, con accompagnamento di gelato. Devo dire che sono golosissima ma un pezzettino è rimasto, proprio non sapevo più dove metterla. In Italia avrei chiesto una doggy bag, ma non so ancora se in Corsica è fattibile. I giorni seguenti me la sono sognata a ogni pasto!

Mooie plek met heerlijk eten. Ik ben hier met mijn vrouw gaan eten als we hier vlakbij logeerden in Hotel Erasme in Calvi. We konden zowel buiten eten onder de mooie boom, als binnen. In beide gavallen hen je een stukje zicht op zee. Maar we waren hier om te eten natuurlijk en dat was uitstekend. Een voorgerecht van heerlijke tomaten enerzijds en een voorgerecht van tarte auw herbes. De hoofdgerechten waren enerzijds vis van de dag en anderzijds pasta met gambas. Alles was heel lekker bereid.
