Super friendly owner! And very welcoming. It was a wonderful encounter in an idyllic setting.

We stayed in this cottage and were very satisfied with the warm welcome, the well-decorated and very clean rooms, the good breakfasts and the varied dinners prepared with good products by Marie Laure. She treated us to rolls and brioches, homemade jam and desserts made by herself. We stayed three nights. Everything was perfect.

A must-see, welcoming, authentic

Generosity, friendliness, cleanliness, and authenticity are the primary attributes of the Gîte du Couvent d’Alando. Our hostess, Marie-Laure, prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners with fresh produce. The rooms are very pleasant, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The site is truly exotic and peaceful, and the locals are very pleasant and always ready to chat. We would have happily stayed a few more nights. Thank you, Marie-Laure, for your welcome and your helpful advice. We highly recommend it and hope to return.

A wonderful encounter! Everything about Marie-Laure is generous: the welcome, the cuisine, the sightseeing tips, the sharing of local anecdotes, the garden offering quiet, sunny spots to relax. She is a warm, passionate and exciting host, who welcomes us in an authentic, simple, comfortable and impeccably clean setting. At the table, it is a true feast: the dishes are generous, tasty, and what can we say about her desserts... a former pastry chef, she delights us with delicious and magnificent creations. Marie-Laure is also passionate about history and loves to share with passion the life and anecdotes of her beautiful region. In short, an exceptional host in a charming place, where we immediately feel good.

Don't hesitate to come meet Marie-Laure. She welcomes you with a smile and great pleasure. She takes the time to tell us the history of her village, and we hang on her every word. With a gentle voice, she transports you to the past. She loves her village, and it shows. She's an excellent cook who introduces us to the wonderful dishes of Corsica. A great time, authentic and allowing you to recharge your batteries. The charm of the village and the house make this place a timeless temple. Marie-Laure was very friendly and the meal was excellent. The two pools and the gardens are very welcoming and allowed us to enjoy the evening. The bedding was very good.
