We stumbled upon this place by chance. THANK GOD! Unfortunately, we couldn't eat in the restaurant because the "small" breakfast, which was one of the best we've ever had (Michel's poached truffle eggs were legendary), was so generous that we were all full for the entire day. We rented two rooms in the guesthouse, and you can't find a more authentic place to stay in Alsace. We live about two hours away, and I would drive all the way to Michel and Julie's just for a quick bite. They really deserve more than five stars. For me, it's already a highlight of the year. We had a wonderful time! The food was excellent, the welcome and service were incredibly warm, and the setting was simply stunning!
