A few improvements to make: - Avoid pouring the last of the champagne from a bottle and then topping it up with a fresh glass; - Avoid serving the beginning of the foie gras terrine; serve a slice instead; - Incredibly long wait times (we arrived at the restaurant at noon and left at 4 p.m.); - Understaffed: for 16 occupied tables, there were only 4 people, including the chef; - Tables are a bit cramped. - The food is generally simple, and the Easter dessert (praline nest) was tasteless. A delightful culinary surprise in Maubeuge. The chef was incredibly attentive in the dining room! The atmosphere and cuisine were warm and welcoming (just like the chef).

Pleasant service, high-quality, very tender beef, and a delicious morel sauce. The dessert selection was a bit limited, but my chocolate mousse was satisfactory. I recommend it!

A lovely place where the food is excellent. Fine dining style. The chef comes to the tables to present the menu. The menu is concise. Drinks are available at all price points, including wine by the bottle or glass. The meat is superb. A sign should be installed for the restrooms, as having to ask the servers every time is a real waste of their time and therefore efficiency. The only drawback is the wait: the earlier you arrive, the longer you have to wait because the dishes are served simultaneously, so you have to wait until everyone has finished their starter before receiving their main course. For two people: aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, with wine by the glass (approximately four glasses per person), we spent €160. So, very good value for money for a fine dining experience.

Perhaps one of the best restaurants in Maubeuge. Nothing extraordinary, but it is Maubeuge.

I came from Cambrai for my first visit...delighted!...A beautiful, charming house...Friendly and discreet welcome...three starters, three main courses, three desserts...no extensive menu!...Quality and beautiful presentation...the chef loves his work and his customers, that's obvious...good value for money...Discreet, pleasant, and efficient service...The chef comes to the tables to check if everything is alright...Reading the wine list is already a pleasure!...I'll be back in the warmer months to enjoy the beautiful green setting...I highly recommend it!

Our first experience at Bacchus was simply excellent. From the aperitif to the dessert, every dish was refined and perfectly executed. The dishes were original and very well-balanced in terms of flavor. The staff was very friendly, and the owner was particularly attentive to the quality of service. We will gladly return and highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent value.
