We were originally supposed to eat in Montpeyroux, but not much was open, so on the way back we stopped here. When the daily menu was announced, I was a little skeptical: rice salad and pork chop with Vichy carrots. But we ordered three set menus for €17 each, and they were a real treat! I even got homemade fries with my carrots. The meat and sauce were succulent, as were the perfectly cooked carrots. The floating island for dessert was also divine. The atmosphere was friendly and unpretentious, the staff were incredibly welcoming, and the bread served at the table was simply delicious.
A stop on the road to Spain, and what a pleasure it was to discover this restaurant! A perfect 20 out of 20 for the welcome, the delicious, simple, and high-quality dishes.
And a small point worth mentioning: the restrooms were very clean. In short, bravo!
