Universal cafe sur Vaison-La-Romaine

Place discovered during our stay in Vaison. A great place, great service and a boss like we would like to see more often. And the must, from Orval à la carte. For us who are Belgian and originally from near Orval, what more could we ask for! We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back on our next stays.

While passing through Vaison La Romaine, we stopped at the Universal Café and our vacation started superbly 🌞 The smoothies are excellent, the staff lovely, I recommend 100% (the misters are very nice)

We looked for a Provencal-style restaurant.. Without success. And we arrived at Universal. The toasts are hearty, delicious and made with fresh produce. Wonderful concept for having a pleasant time without breaking the bank and with a real waitress full of Pep's. What a great time. THANKS...

GREAT welcome from our happy group of 8 people including 4 children (small ones)! Very well placed, served quickly, very good meal (especially the raw ham pesto mozza toast 😋), good value for money. We thank the entire team and recommend this address.

Et voilà un p'tit établissement super sympathique et hyper accueillant, où on ne fait pas de chichi mais où l'accueil est prioritaire et la fraîcheur des produits essentielle ! De belles tartines savoureuses, servies avec humour et sourires. Des prix raisonnables. Des vins très sympas et d'un très bon rapport qualité-prix. On venait de loin... (Annecy ) mais on reviendra certainement lors d'un futur passage par cette belle commune romaine. Continuez ainsi !

Allez-y vous ne serez pas déçus. La formule tartine est un super rapport qualité prix qui tient la route. Froide ou chaude. Tout est frais ! Nous avons goûté l’italienne (Buratta, tomates séchées, jambon cru et une salade verte) €12,50. Le patron est très sympa. Il nous a fait le litre de San Pellergrino au prix du 1/2 car il n’en avait plus. En plus ils ont de très bons dessert (tartelettes citron meringuée). Nous reviendrons volontiers.
