Top ski resort. We were in Les Trois Vallées beforehand and went to Valfréjus for the day. Much better, quieter, and fewer tourists. Excellent snow quality, although the valley run might be a bit slushy in March.

A very nice place for skiing in March. We arrived after a snowfall. However, not all the trails were groomed, and not all the trails were groomed daily.

Beautiful area, good shops, good restaurants, lots of things to do on site. Shuttle service available, plenty of trails for snowshoeing or skiing, I highly recommend it.

20/08/2026: A WONDERFUL DISCOVERY For a long time, we'd been looking for a decent restaurant in Modane. Finally, we found it! Friendly and efficient service. Excellent home-style cooking. A simple menu, but everything is homemade. We won't hesitate to return on our next visit.
13/08/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We weren't disappointed. The dishes are very good, well-prepared, and made with fresh, local ingredients. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this establishment.

30/08/2026: A huge THANK YOU to Rock N' Beer for organizing this festival to close out the summer season! It was a truly fantastic day with its entertainment and activities: pétanque, beer yoga, a skate ramp for kids and adults, concerts, and delicious food! A great atmosphere guaranteed, in a beautiful and welcoming setting.
