We had a wonderful meal at V&G in Avignon! The vegan and homemade cuisine was very original and bursting with flavor. The creamy soup was delicious, as was the traditional blanquette de veau. We were a little less impressed by the caponata, which was quite generous and could be a bit rich for one person—luckily we shared it. For dessert, the poached pear with vanilla, caramel, and chocolate, and the panna cotta with exotic fruits were also very good, although we might have preferred a slightly lighter touch and more seasonal fruit. Overall, a very good restaurant with reasonable prices and quick service. It's worth noting, however, that there isn't really table service: you order at the counter, pick up your order when it's called, and clear your own table. A different experience, but one that doesn't detract from the enjoyment of the food and justifies the reasonable price.

Overall, a very good experience. The food is good and carefully prepared. The menu is a bit unclear, and many dishes are served cold. Service is at the counter, not at a table. Good value for money. The vegan blanquette was very good. Reservations are not possible, even for groups.
