V&G sur Avignon

It is always a pleasure to find a vegan restaurant, especially in the historic center of a city. In any case, the business model (self-service), gourmet cuisine and prices are not consistent with the quality. Salad from a bag, tasteless soup, some non-artisan product... it is not a place I would return to despite being vegan, which is why I am writing a negative review despite being the only place. I am sorry but you have to be objective and consistent with the service.

Simply delicious! Beautifully presented dishes, infused with passion, fresh ingredients, and a friendly atmosphere!

Well, if perfection doesn't exist, I'd like someone to explain to me how this restaurant can exist! 1: The setting A small, friendly restaurant in the heart of Avignon 💖 2: The staff A super welcome, just like being at home! 3: The food (we can all agree: the most important thing, right?!) As beautiful as it is delicious. I have a big appetite, but I couldn't even get my usual dessert ice cream! Prepared with love (yes, you can taste it) and passion. Fresh ingredients that blend together perfectly. Desserts to die for. Only negative point: the restaurant is far from my town; I wish it were right near my place so I could make it my regular spot 🤣

A lovely little discovery to end our stay in Avignon. The food was incredibly refined, generous, and full of flavor. The desserts were excellent. The atmosphere was very pleasant.

V&G is a small and friendly restaurant serving a vegan menu. We had a cold soup, mains and dessert and it was tasty and well presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience as did our neighbouring diners who we spoke to. Definitely worth a visit!

What a shame! Original vegetarian dishes, well-cooked, well-presented, and quite tasty. The bill per person: hibiscus drink €5, starter €6, main course €14, dessert €6. So, affordable prices, but you can't really call them "canteen" prices. And yet, upon arrival, we were told about a "concept" with ordering and service at the bar. I should point out that the restaurant was practically empty that Wednesday evening. If this had been explained more politely or with a bit more warmth, it would surely have made a difference. We felt like we were bothering them from beginning to end. Not a smile. The manager started cleaning up without saying "finish at your leisure," instead saying, "Yes, you can have dessert, I can stay until 9:05 PM, but I won't stay until 9:30 PM." Perhaps he enjoys cooking, but he definitely doesn't enjoy entertaining. We came here hoping for a pleasant family meal, happy to find a vegetarian restaurant, but instead we felt awkward throughout the entire meal and as if we were apologizing for being there and ordering. Once again, it's a real shame and we won't be back.

Absolutely perfect! It's fresh, it's delicious, and it's quite filling, even for big eaters. It's a pleasure to be able to eat vegan, especially when it's this good! Thank you!
