Vi long sur Roques

I recommend this Asian buffet in Toulouse, to which I have already been half a dozen times (!): pleasant room because it is well appointed and not too noisy, even when full, with light background music; rather varied and tasty dishes. Small downsides: less diversity than in other restaurants of the same type (especially the desserts, I am rather sweet: but they are of quality, which allows you to enjoy and enjoy, and without verrines, which allows you to use easily and freely); relatively cramped and dense room, which generates annoying promiscuity in case of crowds (with risk of jostling with plate in hand); and above all, what can be annoying, even oppressive, here or in other buffets of the same type, waiters who spy and lie in wait to collect the plates and cutlery, even for simple small breaks between courses (I would prefer theirs ask for or place my plates and cutlery in a place provided for this purpose). But both the boss and the staff are friendly, attentive and attentive.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years. We love going there with the children. The buffet formula is always our choice and we are delighted. The staff and especially Moundi are wonderful. I hope the restaurant will reopen its doors soon.

Too bad, I've known this restaurant since it opened quite a few years ago... It was excellent at the beginning and then after a few months it became just good, neither good nor bad... Today, after a few weeks without coming, I went there with my husband. Nothing was good. After they wanted to place us next to the hinged kitchen door and then the toilet door, we insisted on being seated correctly, but this greatly displeased the waiter... The spring rolls were not fresh, the beef was dry, the chicken curry was much too salty and the rice was very sticky and tasteless… What a disappointment at more than €16 for the lunch menu… we only stayed for three quarters of about an hour but how annoying is this waiter who comes to take away the plate as soon as you have taken your last bite, and this throughout the meal…

Very pleasant staff, however, as in other comments, the quality of the dishes and the temperature of the service leaves something to be desired compared to other Asian buffets
