Via Mela sur Paris

This Italian restaurant is one of the best I've ever eaten at. The Italian wines are delicious, and their antipasti are incredible too. The truffle pasta is the best I've ever tasted, and their desserts are to die for (tiramisu, panna cotta with red berries) – a delight. I come from the Lot region; we don't usually eat here, but even though we've been countless times, it's always just as good. A place to eat and remember.

Delicious dishes, always with a touch of originality. Excellent wines. Warm welcome and service from the owners. Intimate and charming setting. A place worth discovering.

Wow! What an unexpected surprise! I was staying at a hotel right next to this restaurant. It was pouring rain, I was hungry and I didn't want to walk far given the weather. I love Italian food and decided to give it a try. I couldn't have been more impressed! My server who was probably the owner was SO kind, friendly, helpful, and genuine. He had a wonderful energy about him. I was dining alone and ordered an arancello spritz and one of the specials of the day, tagliatelle with chantarelles. Holy moly, I could have closed my eyes and been transported to Italy. This is the real deal. If you want incredible Italian food at a charming and small, off the beaten path (aka not touristy) restaurant in Paris, then come to Via Mela!
