Villa Massalia sur Marseille

I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained; the cleanliness is impeccable. The spa was very pleasant. The room was spacious and the bedding comfortable!

Impeccable service! The hostesses were smiling and relaxed, giving me recommendations for exploring the city. The room was magnificent. I highly recommend choosing the one with a view: a real bonus! Nothing to complain about, just thank you for the warm welcome. I will definitely return to Marseille and I know where to stay.

We stayed as a family for three days in two superior rooms with a terrace overlooking the racecourse. The two rooms were adjoining. The welcome and service were perfect. There were a few minor issues in the room, but they sent a technician the next day and everything was sorted out. The parking lot right below the hotel is a real plus. The location is good. It's a bit far from the old port, but accessible by bus or taxi, and there are some lovely things to see on foot near the hotel. The spa was pleasant and clean. The restaurant was good and more than reasonable for the price. The children's playroom is fantastic. There's also a nice little gym. I highly recommend it.

Magnificent. Everything you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. Well done. The only thing missing was a smile from the young brunette woman at check-out at 7 a.m. Otherwise, the entire staff is really excellent. Special mention for the lady at check-in. Magnificent lobby. Superb room. Well done.

A lovely, modern hotel in good condition. The only downside is the very poor quality of the door separating the rooms; you can hear all the noises from the next room as well as those from the hallway. It's very disturbing to hear your neighbor blowing their nose, talking on the phone, all those little noises, some of which are quite private. It bothered me a lot.

The reception staff were very pleasant and professional. Regarding hygiene, the housekeeper comes every day. The hotel restaurant is very good; we will gladly return.

Disappointed!!! This is a hotel we've been fond of for years. We were particularly disappointed with the service. Even upon arrival, the welcome was very poor (the staff were very cold, reciting their script and ushering us into our room – a smile apparently being an optional extra). In the evening, we wanted to eat at the on-site restaurant. Our entire order was taken at the same time, so everything was served at once (starter/main course)... As a result, we ate our meal practically cold. As for the taste, I don't doubt the quality of the ingredients (although the fries were frozen and the burger bun was industrial), but since I couldn't eat the octopus stew (too strong for my taste), I gave it to my husband, who had a lot of trouble digesting it (so sour and full of wine). We didn't even have dessert. We paid and left! Luckily, the breakfast service was much more pleasant! It's a shame, because the setting is so beautiful.
