Friendly staff, pleasant back terrace.
We specifically asked to be given time to finish our aperitifs before the main courses arrived. In the end, the dishes arrived lukewarm, even though we hadn't finished our drinks at all. Drinking a spritz while eating beef is just not ideal. I would have preferred a glass of red wine, but we weren't even asked if we wanted a glass of wine with our dinner. The "weeping tiger" dish was a piece of beef full of gristle, not very pleasant! The presentation needs improvement; there were far too many elements: the parmesan crumble was completely out of place.
In short, a very mixed review.

Great restaurant, generous portions and expertly prepared dishes made with quality ingredients. Even the herbal tea had fresh mint leaves.
The place is beautiful.
There's a very large terrace: definitely worth checking out as soon as the weather gets warmer!

A very warm welcome and excellent food. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome. I highly recommend it; the dining rooms are superb.

A wonderful time with friends at Villa Roma!
The welcome was warm and friendly, the restaurant was beautifully laid out and decorated, the staff were polite and efficient, and there was a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. The portions were generous and well-presented.
A bonus was the lovely terrace (and table 117, which wasn't actually 117 ☺️) and the charming manager of the establishment.

We ordered two cocktails and they were delicious. The same goes for the pizzas.
We were seated under the speakers and the music was at a good volume for conversation.
The only slight downside was the noise of glass bottles being thrown.

The service was impeccable and pleasant, but we were disappointed: no limoncello, no Maintou Salon, the linguine carbonara was sweet, and the advertised dessert was missing half its ingredients. They'd "overserved" the first customers, so there wasn't any left... and then it took 15 minutes to turn off the illuminated specials board! A minor inconvenience, but nothing pleasant... Success doesn't excuse a lack of attention to detail.

The Bouratina pizza was excellent and generous.
Be aware that it was very busy on Wednesday, so I think it's best to make a reservation 😉
