Villa Sophia sur Paris

We spent New Year's Eve at Villa Sophia. Overall, the evening was acceptable, but unfortunately, it fell far short of our expectations. We received no information about a New Year's Eve menu beforehand. Such a menu was also unavailable and could not be ordered on-site. The previous year, we had already been there for New Year's Eve and were very satisfied. At that time, we had booked through Come to Paris, which worked flawlessly and included a clearly defined menu. This year, we were limited to ordering à la carte. The prices were extremely high. While it's understandable that prices are higher on New Year's Eve, some dishes were almost twice as expensive as on the regular menu, which, in our opinion, was no longer justifiable. The portions were generally adequate, however, the pasta was served ice-cold, which shouldn't happen at this price point. Furthermore, no side dish was served with the salmon steak, which cost €32.00, something we expect for a main course in this price range. I should mention that the cold pasta was promptly replaced with hot pasta. The service was friendly, but overall average. It's a shame, because based on our very positive experience last year, we had expected much more.

Great food, great atmosphere. Our server Théo was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

The restaurant is quiet with a pleasant atmosphere. Last time I dined here, the server brought the pasta before starters. Ordering and paying took forever since no one proactively checked on us or offered assistance. The dessert was decent and beautifully presented. Afterward, both my boyfriend and I felt a bit queasy—those with sensitive stomachs might want to be cautious.

We spontaneously strolled by, had to wait a short while for our table, but this turned out to be a very positive decision. The pizza and pasta were excellent, the service was top-notch – all in all, a lucky find!

We had a very good meal, with high-quality dishes and very pleasant, friendly, attentive, and smiling staff. The restaurant's main drawback is the lack of space between tables; it's really difficult to take off your coat or leave the table without being extremely careful. This is definitely an area for improvement.

A good brasserie for a pleasant time. The menu is very extensive, offering something for everyone (pizzas, pasta, antipasti, meat and fish, with the exception of risotto), except for those who are gluten-free (the selection is limited). The same goes for desserts, especially if you're also lactose intolerant. Prices are a bit high, but that's typical of the neighborhood. The cocktail menu is short but includes a variety of Spritzes. The setting is nice, with a spacious and well-decorated dining room. It can get noisy when full, but it wasn't during our visit. There are a few tables outside. The service was quick and the waiters were helpful; no complaints.

The Margarita pitta was ok. The service was slow.

We ordered pizza. It was very tasty. We even ordered the wrong thing at first, but a young lady changed it for us free of charge.

The waiter, Luis, was excellent: attentive, efficient, quick, and most importantly, he spoke the language! We are Argentinian and he gave us top-notch service.
