Friendly setting and staff. In our Aber Benoit mussel salad, the Quéménés potato salad was missing, even though it was listed on the menu... a shame. The toasted monkfish and the far noir were delicious! A little surprised that in this type of establishment they didn't change our cutlery between courses... The champagne and white wine were excellent.

Lovely setting, excellent welcome. The dishes were excellent and beautifully presented. The desserts were also excellent, which is something I'm often disappointed by. Here, the chocolate raspberry finger was a delight, and the flan was also delicious. They even offered complimentary appetizers. It was my birthday, and they discreetly placed a candle on my cake, along with a souvenir photo, which I really appreciated. We had a wonderful evening.

Overall, it lacks generosity. It's pretty, it tastes good, but it's not very good. The dining room decor is elegant. Cloth napkins are provided. The side dishes were disappointing: the choices were ratatouille, salad, carrot purée, or fries, but they were presented under pretentious names: seasonal vegetables, matchstick potatoes, iceberg lettuce with pickles (two gherkins and three slices of pickled onion). Everything is served in its own container: a small casserole dish for the fish, a mini casserole dish for the sauce, and a bowl for the vegetables. It's attractive but not very practical. It's not very convenient for eating. The table is served and cleared in several trips. The service is adequate but not very friendly and bordering on disdainful. All the servers are responsible for all the tables. As a result, you can hear conversations at the tables (which is normal) but also some rather unpleasant comments about the customers. There was a general feeling of unease, along with a whole host of little things like, "Have you finished?" "No, one of us hasn't finished their dessert." Oh well, the other plates were cleared away. He finished his dessert, feeling like he was in the way. In short, we didn't have a very good time and the food wasn't anything special. The value for money was quite poor. The restaurant would benefit from offering a better customer experience, both in terms of the food and the service, if it wants to justify its prices. We were surprised by the discrepancy between the restaurant's reputation and our experience. We realized that the establishment had changed ownership.

I didn't understand... Based on the ratings and reviews, I booked this restaurant for myself, my wife, and our two children, ages 13 and 10, for lunch. We're not from the area and are discovering the region and its good restaurants. We were rather disappointed by VIOBEN: A carafe of still water cost €4, and every side dish (mashed carrots, ratatouille, fries, etc.) is extra. The service was attentive, certainly, but where was the smile? I think the prices are exorbitant, even though our dishes were good, if not exceptional. Perhaps I overestimated this restaurant after reading the reviews. We paid €190 for a children's menu and three courses (starters, main courses, desserts, and an aperitif). For me, VIOBEN is a pleasant, modern, and rather classy traditional restaurant, but the food and service are overrated, in my opinion.

Refined Food served by a refined person. We had tge Saint Pierre that was amazing. The side ratatouille was excellent. The Eclair aux abricots should not be missed as it is outstanding.

A very pleasant welcome from the young owner; we asked to change tables because of the sun! (sic in North Finistère), no problem despite a large crowd, comfortably seated in plush fabric armchairs, young, attentive, smiling and efficient service team, carving of the John Dory at the table, rare!, quality bistronomic cuisine, perfect cooking, various expertly prepared sauces, good homemade bread, well-thought-out wine list, varied, original, and excellent dessert menu, a place we will return to regularly.
