Short stop in Pau on our return route. A restaurant where you have to stop!! Traditional, local and very tasty cuisine. The chicken sauce: a KILLER (well-kept secret by the chef). We had the foie gras and garbure as a starter: very good. Bigorre pork chop: also a delight. The desserts are just as good, what a pleasure to end on a good note, especially for a pastry chef. The service enhances the meal even more, servers attentive, professional and very kind. Thank you for this moment.

To begin with, my son and I were refused, my reservation not having been noted for lack of professionalism. Insisting, a couple ready to leave, a place becomes available. I would like to point out that my son is in an electric wheelchair. The receptionist softened throughout the evening. As for the meal, nothing transcendent, overly grilled duck confit, microwavated baby potatoes and a very poorly seasoned salad. In short, the dessert was very good. We won't come back there. Our beautiful city of Pau has many restaurants that are not always accessible when you are in a wheelchair.
