Vulcano sur Menton

We spent a few hours looking for a pizzeria in Menton, and there are many. We chose Vulcano, and we're so glad we did. We had tried their takeaway pizzas and were very happy with them. So we booked a table, and it was a wonderful experience. The pizzas are excellent, generously topped. The prices are very reasonable. The service is perfect, the waitresses are very friendly, and the dining room is very pleasant, even though it's not visible from the street. A great place that we recommend without hesitation. We regularly visit Menton, and we'll know where to go next time!

The daily special was excellent. The service was very good. I'm giving it 4 stars for the atmosphere, as it was a bit close to the other seats.

Even though the restaurant doesn't look like much at first glance, it was a very pleasant surprise. The daily menu was really very good and the staff were very friendly. I recommend it.

Our two pizzas were excellent. The place is small but family-run; be sure to make a reservation. We had a great time.

Really excellent pizza, thin and crispy base with a wide selection of delicious toppings. We come here every year when we return to Menton around Christmas and it is a treat. No better pizza in town, good downtown location and still reasonable prices. We take the pie to go and wulf it down on the benches of the nearby park. Can't wait for next year.

Relaxed atmosphere with well priced pizza & pasta with good portions. Service is also rather 'relaxed' (we saw our server sitting inside looking at their phone rather a lot), but that aside it's a nice find for such a touristic town. Go to the deli next door for dessert though!
