Mark Williamson is the proud owner of this iconic establishment, a favorite among wine lovers. He opened his bar in the early 1980s, a true pioneer in the industry. He's surrounded by a friendly, competent, and attentive all-female team, ensuring a truly enjoyable experience. The wine and spirits list is meticulously curated to suit every budget and taste! It was a pleasure chatting with Mark and capturing this special moment.

The wine selection is too notch. And the cheese plate was so good. We got there early and it wasn’t crowded. As the day went on more people arrived but we never felt rushed or claustrophobic. I would for sure visit again.

What a lovely place! We stumbled upon this charming address and really enjoyed our experience. An institution since 1980, it was one of the very first wine bars in Paris, and you can still feel its history and character. We had the pleasure of meeting Mark, the founder, who was a joy to talk to and made us feel very welcome. The wine is exceptional, the food delicious, and the atmosphere relaxed and authentic. A great Parisian address, away from the usual tourist spots. Definitely worth a visit!

Our favorite place in Paris. Yes, it has changed a lot over the years but so have we. Great food,obviously great wine and English for the faint at heart ! Lovely bartenders if you arrive between 2-6 and a must stop for us always!

Established in 1980, by an Englishman who loved Paris and French wine, Willi’s is the Parisian institution credited with pioneering the modern Paris wine bar. Its posters – a new one added each year – have become collectables. I love Willi's - whether for a glass of Côtes du Rhône at the long oak bar with some great cheese, or several glasses over a long leisurely lunch of excellent international fare with Parisian flair.

Food was nice, not bad at all. I was just upset that there were no alcohol free options for drinks. So when I ordered water, i was quite disappointed it wasn’t even cold. But maybe that’s just Paris.

Willi's Wine Bar has been high on our list to try, and it lived up to our expectations. So many fun French wines by the bottle, lots of smaller producers you don't normally see, making it easy to try something new. Centrally located in the Opera district, cozy, relaxed spot, great for wine lovers who like to explore.

A perfect Paris wine bar and bistro. Good food, delightful and efficient staff, a very approachable and well curated wine list and .. a friendly an interesting host. Willi's also displays and sells its delightful "bottle art". It is one of Paris favorites.
