Wokasie sur Olivet

Hello, I was reading the reviews and found most of them quite harsh. (But certainly justified; a review only represents a single experience at a given moment.) As a regular, I'll share my longer-term experience. The food is quite good. It's all-you-can-eat, clearly aiming for high turnover, but the food is still quite decent. Sushi, maki, and other dishes are homemade, with just the right amount of rice and salmon. The wok dishes are high quality. Eating lunch on weekdays is cheaper but limits the choices. (No macarons, no sashimi...) The desserts are mass-produced, but still tasty. The presence of freshly cut and peeled fruit is always a nice touch. The service has never seemed unpleasant to me, but there isn't really any, and that's part of the concept. If you're expecting high-end service and attentive service, then disappointment is inevitable. However, if you're looking for a buffet where you can eat at your own pace and enjoy a wide variety of choices, this restaurant is really great. My friend and I have a tradition of trying all the all-you-can-eat restaurants, and frankly, this one is above average, with a more diverse selection than many others.

The buffet is large, with some good items and others that are best left over. This restaurant is very large, so it's not the place for a relaxed meal or a romantic dinner. Because of its size, it's always crowded and noisy. I left with a headache, but I'm not giving it a bad rating because of that. Just something to be aware of.

The dining room was spacious and the menu quite varied. However, the waitresses seemed to have little to do and cleared the tables too quickly; we were still eating dessert when they collected the other cutlery, our plates barely finished. They weren't very friendly.

Lots of choices and the singer is fantastic, a beautiful voice. Friendly servers, very good food. The upstairs lounge table was super convenient, thank you.

That said, I'm not giving it 5 stars: the portions are rather small compared to other all-you-can-eat buffets I've tried, and the selection is relatively limited. As a result, I was left wanting more. A good place nonetheless, especially for a relaxed outing with friends or family.
