As a regular customer of this restaurant, I find that some of the reviews aren't entirely objective.
First of all, you have to understand that this is a fast-casual restaurant, not a traditional restaurant. So, if you come with the wrong expectations, you're bound to be disappointed.
Let me give a concrete example at Polygone: I once ate at another highly rated restaurant, where a simple salad for €16.90 was served cold, prepared in advance, with very few toppings. For me, as a woman, this was enough, but for someone who eats a lot, it was definitely too light. At Woko, for €11.90, you get a complete meal: starchy foods (noodles or rice), pickled carrots, cucumber, fried onions, peanuts, bean sprouts, salad, and your choice of meat.
Regarding hygiene: have you ever looked at the restrooms at a McDonald's? During busy times, Woko is no different. Many customers—tourists and locals alike—don't always respect the premises: trash is thrown everywhere, leftovers are left behind. During peak hours, the staff must prioritize preparing and serving food, as well as washing up. Minor oversights can happen, but it's not due to a lack of willpower.
I also want to highlight the remarkable work of Ali, the manager. Honestly, the owner is very lucky to have him: he's serious, loyal, committed, and works hard as if the restaurant were his own.
My opinion is completely objective: I work at Polygone and eat here very often. I see how the team does their best every day to serve an impressive number of customers, despite a chronic shortage of staff.
Sometimes you just have to put yourself in the shoes of those who work to serve you, and naturally you'll be less judgmental.

The only restaurant that was willing to serve us at 9:50 p.m. in this shopping center, the staff was welcoming and took great care of us. A big thank you, I highly recommend.
