Excellent Japanese restaurant with amazing handmade soba noodles. The noodles had a wonderful texture, the tempura was perfectly light and crispy, and every dish was fresh and beautifully presented. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere and the service was friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese food in Paris, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Yen in Paris is high-level sushi — we’ve only managed to dine there once, but it was a truly interesting experience. Everything was excellent and sophisticated, a real step above. Definitely a place we want to return to.

Second Time there to confirm my initial feeling: Food is good but way overpriced. Several restaurants in Paris are as good and much cheaper.

Proper Japanese food in a lovely space, with a large Japanese clientele. We loved everything we ordered - soba, miso cod, Scottish salmon nigiri, pickles... and the desserts should not be missed! Very cute outside space too.

The food wasn't bad, but nothing special. The portions were very small and the prices were really high, not justified by the cost of the ingredients. The price of the soba noodles (about 80 grams), in particular, was completely unjustified; they were no different or tastier than the ones you buy dry at any Japanese supermarket. The restaurant left me a bit perplexed; I paid €60 and left feeling hungry.

22/07/2026: The dream Both sweet and savory choices. Lunch is available until 4:00 PM. Takeout and small gift packages are also available. Different matcha qualities are available. Impeccable service. Incredibly clean. The bathroom is constantly cleaned. Even the toilet paper is refolded for each customer. Menu in various languages. I will definitely be back.
09/07/2026: One of my favorite places. I go there regularly, and the wagashi are truly delicious! The servers are lovely too.

13/07/2026: One of my favorite matcha spots in Paris! I keep coming back again and again, and I’ve never been disappointed. The atmosphere is cozy, the matcha is always delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of my go-to places!
12/07/2026: We visited Kiji on a Sunday morning, the atmosphere was very peaceful. My boyfriend ordered the matcha coconut raspberry drink and a slice of carrot cake. He found the matcha very refreshing and the cake moist. I ordered the matcha cloud and a black sesame ice mochi. I found the matcha surprisingly delicious in combination with the mochi. The place has a Japanese vibe to it. Up stairs you can sit in a traditional tatami room which adds to the atmosphere
