A really lovely tea room; you can taste the homemade quality in both the drinks and the pastries! We especially loved the bountine, with its perfect balance of coconut and chocolate 😍 Contrary to some reviews, we didn't find the owner unpleasant at all; the service was impeccable.

We had a drink with our two young children. Bike parking right across the street. Children's carousel nearby. Very nice spot in the heart of La Couarde. Flower-filled terrace. I recommend it, thank you 🙂

20/08/2026: Good atmosphere, a bit pricey for entry but perfect for talking and dancing
16/08/2026: The pergola is a really nice spot by the sea, the atmosphere is great. It's perhaps a shame that it's next to the restaurant because people tend to stay seated and don't necessarily dance, which somewhat dampens the potential atmosphere.
