I loved this place! We were in Paris for 6 days and this was the only place I went to twice. The moussaka, the taboulé and the falafel, it was all really good and reasonably priced. The owner was really kind and even gave me some freebies.
A true culinary gem! The cuisine is exceptional, with products of remarkable freshness. The family atmosphere is palpable, as parents and children work hand in hand, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The friendliness of the staff is simply unmatched, making each visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place, eyes closed! An experience not to be missed! 👍✨
What can I say, it’s excellent 😋.
It's really, really good, delicious.
Good home cooking the way we like it.
Everything is homemade.
You can test it with confidence.
The good: no wait. Near the Louvre. An average but not out of the world chicken shawarma. They do fries and radish inside. Was also of a decent size. Hummus/pita was good though on the garlicky side of what I prefer. I did really like the one falafel we got to try though - brown and soft inside versus a more typical green inside with hard outer shell. Maybe that’s a Beirut thing (people mentioned they are from there)
The less good: they had the “formulae” (combo) listed on the menu that you could get a sandwich and side which is 2 euros less than paying for side and sandwich separate. We tried multiple times when ordering to be clear we wanted the formulae but we ended up getting charged for two chicken shawarmas, a full price hummus and the falafel. So we felt pretty overcharged. I’m not sure why it wouldn’t be the default anyway if someone orders a shawarma and side to not ask if they want it as the formulae/why they wouldn’t charge it to the formulae price? So that was disappointing. Probably will try another place given it was only about average in flavour and disappointing feeling on the price in the end.
