25/08/2026: We had a wonderful lunch on August 25th with my wife.
The welcome and the quality of the food are always excellent.
The "Couscous du Palais" is truly superb, like all the couscous dishes we've had here.
The owners are incredibly attentive to their customers, and the owner's sense of humor adds to the atmosphere (if you're clever enough to get it...).
Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed!

23/08/2026: Absolutely delicious!! The chicken and mango was divine!!
I got it to go and it was a generous portion.
A little disappointed with the cheese naan, but the rest was fantastic.

25/08/2026: The kebab was absolutely delicious! The meat was incredibly flavorful, everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. The sauces they offered were also very good. In the end, I chose the spicy sauce and it was perfect 🌶️🔥 It was the ideal accompaniment to the kebab. I highly recommend it!

01/09/2026: The only excuse they gave me was, "Oh, maybe it was the red oak that bothered you." The mixed salad was the only thing on the plate that wasn't bad. And I was really looking forward to enjoying the meat... Thank goodness they offered some kind of compensation! Unfortunately, I won't tolerate the lack of respect when they dare to serve me that!
03/08/2026: The server wasn't very attentive. My request for a burger remains unanswered.
The meat was of decent quality.
There was a bit of a wait depending on the time of day, which is normal for well-cooked meat.
As for the atmosphere, a little music wouldn't hurt.

27/02/2026: What a great find, 95! I was in the neighborhood for the week and made it my go-to lunch spot every day. The welcome is always warm, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming (the place is full of regulars, retirees, and local workers). The service is impeccable, quick, and pleasant. The bistro cuisine is good, simple, with attention to detail, and very generous. The value for money is unbeatable: €17 for a starter and main course or main course and dessert, or €21 for a starter, main course, and dessert. I always ate very well (not having a sweet tooth, I didn't try the desserts). Special mention goes to the starters, which, besides being delicious, are also particularly generous. Every day, a daily special adds a starter, a main course, and a dessert to the menu, and they are just as good as the dishes on the regular menu.

My wife suffered a severe case of food poisoning.
Reheating old food is unacceptable for a restaurant.
Furthermore, the mint leaves and salad were wilted.
We suspect the noodles were the culprit, as they were the only thing we didn't eat together.
You cut corners on reheated noodles at the expense of her health. You should be ashamed!
By earning your few cents, you've earned me this review and the publicity that will come with it.
Naturally, you've lost us as customers.
You are completely irresponsible!!!!

09/08/2026: Being refused entry on a Friday at 10:00 PM… I understand it's closing time, but when a customer is there with the owner, a drink in hand, I find it hard to understand. At least close the door and gate and be courteous to your customers… Better service at Café des Sports. It's a shame because we were loyal customers of the previous owners.
13/05/2026: A fantastic welcome, a top-notch owner, I recommend the iron-rich tap water – finally, a great place to be in Château-Thierry!
