What a wonderful discovery this restaurant was! We came for lunch and received a very warm welcome. The menu was pleasant and varied. The burrata starter was delicious.... A minor point regarding the side dish with our duck breast... logically, potatoes and seasonal vegetables were supposed to be included, but in reality, it was 99.9% potato, a tiny head of cauliflower, a cherry tomato, and four micro-slices of leek... a shame not to showcase seasonal vegetables at this time of year. The duck breast itself was delicious and cooked beautifully! Another minor drawback was the occasional unpleasant smell of cigarettes. Was it coming from outside? As a former smoker, I found it quite bothersome. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this very pleasant restaurant, and we will gladly return.

During a stopover on our way to the Vosges Mountains, we discovered L'Adresse Rive Droite. An excellent restaurant with well-prepared dishes and elegant presentation, accompanied by a delicious chilled Pouilly-Fumé. Professional service provided by a very pleasant and smiling young woman, and a friendly and accommodating owner. All this at a very reasonable price. A must-visit if you happen to be stopping in Château-Thierry.

It's hard to find a nice restaurant in this city, and this one is definitely worth a stop. Top-notch service, excellent food, and reasonable prices. Everything was perfect.

On the banks of the Marne River, a pleasant surprise at Chateau Thierry. The starter was a well-served foie gras terrine, and for the main course, a cabillaud (cod) and a perch in black rice with a delicious gorgonzola sauce. The wine list was good, but the dessert left something to be desired.

07/04/2026: I hadn't been back since the change of ownership, and honestly, it's like night and day! The place is clean, completely redecorated, and has a lovely atmosphere. The owner is friendly, helpful, and dedicated. You can feel a real energy there, with some great projects in the works, including themed evenings. I highly recommend it, especially with the arrival of warmer weather and walks along the Marne River!

27/02/2026: What a great find, 95! I was in the neighborhood for the week and made it my go-to lunch spot every day. The welcome is always warm, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming (the place is full of regulars, retirees, and local workers). The service is impeccable, quick, and pleasant. The bistro cuisine is good, simple, with attention to detail, and very generous. The value for money is unbeatable: €17 for a starter and main course or main course and dessert, or €21 for a starter, main course, and dessert. I always ate very well (not having a sweet tooth, I didn't try the desserts). Special mention goes to the starters, which, besides being delicious, are also particularly generous. Every day, a daily special adds a starter, a main course, and a dessert to the menu, and they are just as good as the dishes on the regular menu. Thank you for your hospitality!
