22/02/2026: A very nice place to have a beer or two!

16/02/2026: I ate a good few times in that area in more affluent looking bistrots in which, unfortunately, your plate arrives 5 minutes after ordering it. In short, everything is precooked or worse, bought it and just reheated. THE Académie de la Bière is a very small and simple bistrot with impeccable service and real food! The chips are cut and cooked onsite, the soup is fresh, the fish is tasty. Nothing is fancy but fresh food cooked onsite is a real luxury in that type of bistrot in Paris nowadays. I strongly recommend it if you are in that area !
