24/07/2026: We had lunch here and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, and the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
If you visit, don't miss the cheese board for dessert! It was such a wonderful surprise. One of the waiters brings over a trolley with an incredible selection of cheeses and tells the story behind them with so much passion and enthusiasm. It turned the dessert into a memorable experience, not just a meal.
The restaurant is located in the beautiful medieval village of Charroux, making it the perfect place to enjoy lunch while exploring one of the most charming villages in the region.
Highly recommended, we would happily come back!

26/04/2026: A little disappointed. The first time I went a few years ago, the pastries were really very good.
Today, for the flea market, the pastries were a bit dry, and the lemon cake wasn't great. Tiny portions for 4 euros... It's a shame.

26/07/2026: The salads were good and generous. The ribeye steak was very tender and perfectly cooked. The young barbecue chef was excellent. Our two waitresses were very good, the service was quick and efficient, no complaints whatsoever.
26/07/2026: A fantastic find! I highly recommend Auberge Le Médiéval. The dishes are homemade, generous, and delicious. The value for money is simply excellent, which is becoming increasingly rare.
The staff is welcoming, the service is pleasant, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you're passing through the beautiful village of Charroux, don't hesitate to stop by; you won't be disappointed!

30/12/2024: je laisse un avis suite à plusieurs avis négatifs, nous étions 8 déjà l endroit et agréable,le serveur très sympathique nous avons été bien accueilli le service n'à pas était si long que j ai pu lire, nous avons bien mangé pour un prix au alentour des 30 35e par personne.
03/11/2024: Burger au St Nectaire : le fromage avait un goût amer. Comme il n'y en avait pas beaucoup cela a été mangé !
Truffade : je pense que le chef ne connaît pas la recette. Il s'agit de pommes de terre écrasées avec de la tome fraîche et des lardons !
Dans l'assiette pomme de terre coupées en lamelles, très peu de fromage et le tout baignant dans la graisse jambon et salade ! Très déçue !
Vraiment le restaurant attrape touristes et il était ouvert ce dimanche !
Seul point positif le dessert la tarte tatin !
