The salads were good and generous. The ribeye steak was very tender and perfectly cooked. The young barbecue chef was excellent. Our two waitresses were very good, the service was quick and efficient, no complaints whatsoever.

A fantastic find! I highly recommend Auberge Le Médiéval. The dishes are homemade, generous, and delicious. The value for money is simply excellent, which is becoming increasingly rare.
The staff is welcoming, the service is pleasant, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you're passing through the beautiful village of Charroux, don't hesitate to stop by; you won't be disappointed!

We happened to be passing through Charroux and received a very warm welcome, even with our stroller, and were kept cool inside!
Despite the high temperatures, we decided to try some dishes that were definitely out of season (truffade and pork knuckles), and we're so glad we did because they were excellent!
Special mention for the homemade fries.
We finished with a gigantic ice cream sundae.
The service was very pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend it if you're ever in the area :)

A lovely little inn, excellent, simple, and efficient service. Reasonable prices compared to fast food, especially considering it's all homemade. A couple from the Var region (83) passing through the area 😉👍🏾
