Cream of lentil soup
30g of red mullet fillet with a bed of linguine (noodles) and undercooked squid (completely tasteless)
Floating islands were just about okay.
Usually everything is very good, but today it was nothing special and the service was very cold and slow.
A shame for a Sunday
14/03/2026: The price paid was for a double bed, but it was actually two single beds that were difficult to push together... very noisy, and we had to go find the person in charge of breakfast to pay for the room.

Spacious restaurant,
Large bar,
Area to relax or have a snack without going into the restaurant, snacks, hot meals, pastries, cakes...
Several meal options available,
_ Very clean restrooms and showers,
_ Very friendly staff,
_ Beautifully decorated place, great atmosphere, TV, Hi-Fi,
A great place to take a break while driving.

Le Restaurant Campanile Montluçon Saint-Victor

09/12/2025: We spent one night at the Campanille hotel in Montluçon on our way down to the south of France.
The welcome was friendly, and the rooms were clean.
We had an unpleasant surprise upon departure, as the hotel charged us an additional fee (not much) that wasn't mentioned when we arrived.
The breakfast is plentiful and offers a good selection!
30/11/2025: The welcome was unremarkable, with a speech and extra charges depending on the guest's appearance. The room appeared clean but was cold and had malfunctioning fixtures, particularly the plumbing (shower and sink faucet). There was only one towel per person and a small bath mat, one chair for two people, two tea bags, and one bag of two biscuits for two people. The layout is poorly designed, starting with the entrance door opening onto a second door. There's poor insulation, it overlooks the parking lot, the hand soap is facing the floor, and the bathroom heater doesn't work. The area around the hotel is neglected and poorly maintained. The hotel's location is good. The three-star rating is a sham and therefore misleading given the reality.

12/03/2026: This McDonald's is filthy, the floor is slippery, and the toilets are disgusting with a particularly strong smell of excrement—there's even excrement on the floor—not to mention the grime and hair left by previous customers, and clearly not just from that day. The service is extremely cold; a simple "hello" costs nothing! In short: don't stop there! Absolutely avoid it!

07/05/2024: Ayant commandé deux happy meal et un wrap chèvre grill.
Il manquait de nuggets sur 4 dans un des happy meal de mes enfants ensuite nous demandons un wrap cher nous avons eu un vrap poulet.
Dès que j'ai appelé la première fois quand je me suis rendu compte qu'il manquait des nuggets on m'a dit qu'on aurait un geste commercial puisque je ne pouvais pas m'y rendre tout de suite.
Et de ce fait bah le wrap chèvre qui était un vrai poulet. Pour se wrap mon mari a vu des personnes se moquer de la commande en disant ah bah ils prennent un gris le juste galette et sauce et c'est trop facile à faire mais bon ils se sont quand même trompé.
Donc moi dès que j'ai vu ça je les ai rappelé en leur disant que je repasserai demain soir vers 19h30 pour avoir une commande correcte et là souci encore rupture de tomates cerises on a mis presque 15 minutes avant de venir me le dire on me propose des frites. Je n'ai pas eu de geste commercial et le personnel ainsi que la manager ce qui était sur place très désagréable.
Je pense que si on a pas le sens du commerce il ne faut pas travailler en restauration rapide.
Moi j'ai travaillé 9 ans au McDo de Carrefour dès qu'une erreur sur une commande était faite nous la refaisions et proposer soin des serres soit autre chose pour les enfants.
Bien évidemment je n'y retournerai pas je retournerai au McDo de carrefour à Montluçon.
