04/08/2026: A DISASTER!!! The saleswoman was extremely unpleasant (stressful and unfriendly). The sandwich was dry and tasteless with poor-quality ingredients. The salad was wilted....
In short: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
04/08/2026: We tried three ice cream shops on this square, including this one. It might have fewer flavors, but it is certainly worth it and tastier than the two large ice cream parlors on the square! They also have delicious meringue blocks! The saleswoman is very friendly.

She lacked a smile and her welcome left much to be desired.
This young woman with long curly hair and piercings is not suited for this job.
Everything seems to irritate her!
She's damaging the establishment's image!

Apparently, there was no more steak for the children's menu, but steak was still available for the other dishes, and she refused to include it in the children's menu – no logic whatsoever!
Nothing is homemade; even the lasagna comes in a disgusting tray.
Don't waste your time and money!

19/05/2026: The hotel wasn't clean, the staff, though somewhat helpful, looked worse for wear. The owner was grumpy and now I am about to engage in a payment dispute as he charged me on top of (crappy) Booking.com. Such a shame as the location is perfect and my room had a nice view of the gorge. This place could be quite special if there was some tender loving care. Really annoyed at the payment shenanigans.
17/05/2026: Fantastic stay at Hotel Le Belvédère, the staff are amazing! The hotel is in a great location, with a lovely view. A real bonus is the quiet, heated pool – very relaxing. Thanks again!

19/08/2026: I stopped by chance for a late lunch. Everything on the menu looked tempting, and while the prices are a bit higher than average for a typical restaurant (as many reviews show), considering the quality of the place, the food, and the staff, I can't recommend it highly enough. The terrace is lovely and shaded, and the staff are incredibly kind and attentive despite it being peak season. You have plenty of time to relax and don't feel rushed out as soon as you finish. That's becoming rare these days. The food is truly high-quality and absolutely delicious, with a special mention for the Bolognese pasta on the children's menu! It's so refreshing to enjoy a real, quality restaurant and not a factory. So thank you and best of luck to the team, who, despite a busy season dealing with tourists, still provide such a perfect welcome 🙏

15/05/2026: Good products. I come here every day to eat during my study sessions.
However, the service needs improvement, especially from the lady with the braids who's always grumpy, and I'm not the only one who says so.
This afternoon, I came in for a muffin and some chips, I said hello (she didn't respond), and when I handed her the phone to pay with Izly, she ordered me in a very cold and almost aggressive manner, "Bring the phone closer!" (even though the phone was already in front of her, but given that she's blind in addition to being unpleasant...). If you don't like your job or you don't know how to be friendly with customers, you should quit and let people who will do the job better than you do.
15/05/2026: I don't know if it's normal, but the people working in this cafeteria during the week are incredibly rude! We try saying "hello" louder and louder with our friends, but there's never a response 🤷♀️ Maybe we owe them money or something, I don't know, but the service is truly awful. We don't need an atmosphere like this on campus; it's so demoralizing. No hello, no goodbye, no "you're welcome" 👏 It's better on weekends, but during the week, the oldest employee and another one with a nose piercing are incredibly unpleasant 🤨 Maybe they're forced to work here, I don't know 🧍🏻♀️

05/09/2024: A great little restaurant with outdoor seating from which you can watch the paddlers on the Ardeche. Also very nice to sit outside in the evening. The food is very tasty and has a good price/performance ratio. Lots of locals come to eat. So reserve a table especially in the evening. The patron seems a bit grumpy at first glance, but he has his shop under control and can be very funny. We enjoyed being guests there several times on holiday and never had any reason to complain about any dish. Highly recommended.
