19/03/2024: If you want to eat a Japanese fondue this is the right place. For €25 per person you will leave with a full stomach and satisfied taste buds. The broth and vegetables are good and the portion of meat perfect. I also recommend the lychee-based cocktail.

25/03/2024: After several visits to this establishment, I can say that it is a very good establishment. The atmosphere is very pleasant, I really like the decoration of the place, the bay windows only reinforce the charm of the place. The food, Japanese or Korean, is exquisite, the portions and the quality of the products are in line with the prices charged here. I can only recommend trying this restaurant, it was a great discovery for me.
25/02/2024: Right in the center, nice cuisine,
the Korean barbecue is superb, the sushi too.
Taken OK except drinks and dessert.

31/03/2024: Wonderful restaurant excellent value for money friendly staff, and attentive I have eaten in many restaurants in Aix, all very good, but it's difficult to do better than the Tay-Lai thank you for your kindness, your cuisine and your sympathy.
I will come back
25/03/2024: After a long trip to have all delicious Franch food and some Michelin star restaurants, we need to have stimulation. Tay-Lai did not disappoint us. In fact, they impressed us on many levels.
We ordered the frog legs, Vietnamese spring rolls and beef salad as appetizers and beef soup noodles and Vietnamese crepe for our main course. The food was freshly prepared and delicious!!! The restaurant was a little hard to find, but it was worth the effort. I highly recommend it to many who love authentic Vietnamese food and being a true foodie to try. They may not have fancy decorations or social media page, but they offer the best food and service. Are these the core elements for a great restaurant?

01/04/2024: I went there after seeing good reviews but was disappointed.
I give 3 stars because the owner is friendly.
I first ordered 2 pad thai and then 1 Nouilles sautées aux crevettes, but somehow 3 Nouilles sautées aux crevettes came out. I ordered Pad Thai because I wanted to eat rice noodles... I asked to leave out the cilantro, but they didn't, and the shrimp fritter I ordered was completely missing.
30/03/2024: Excellent value.
5 of us ate on a round table (rare). That was delicious !

27/03/2024: The place doesn't look like much, the terrace is attractive but it was raining so we took a place inside. When I entered, I thought I had entered my grandparents' house. The decor could be improved but the food was exquisite.
The best Tteokbokki in France, yes
The best fried chicken in France too.
Warm service and really fair prices.
I would have given 7 stars if I could
25/03/2024: very disappointed... 6 euros a cardboard tray with 6 tteokbokkis in sauce and 8 euros a sushi burrito stuffed with mayo and lots of bagged salad and 2 pieces of salmon... a bit excessive! The 15m2 room with boxed noodles catering section. friendliness of the staff in harmony with all that!!!

25/03/2024: New card, more expensive and smaller quantities than before, it’s a shame. In the takeaway box of fried noodles, almost as much liquid as pasta, small portions considering the price (€9.50).
25/01/2024: Great discovery in Aix, we had the Yaki udon and the pas thai, it was excellent as was the matcha cheesecake.
And very friendly staff!!!
I will definitely come back!!!

06/04/2024: Hello, we usually come to eat here, but last night had a bad experience. We wanted to make a reservation, the waiter on the phone told us that reservations were not possible that evening, that we could come until 9 p.m. without problem. We arrive at the restaurant at 8:50 p.m., we order and pay via the internet. 5 minutes later the waiter comes out telling us "You didn't warn me that you're setting up and I'm closing" followed by the person in the kitchen who came to tell us that the kitchens were closing. Since we had paid, the dishes were done. We had 2 choices, either get them to go or eat and leave before 9:15 p.m. However, it is shown on the internet that the restaurant closes at 10 p.m., moreover on Uber Eat orders were still possible. This is not at all commercial and strange for a Friday evening in Aix, especially since we have always been well received. The waiter was certainly unfriendly with his announcement, which is regrettable. However, the food remains very good!
05/04/2024: We have eaten there several times or ordered there several times. The difference in quality between on-site and delivery is obvious. On site always a delight, good and plentiful. On the other hand, in delivery there is constantly something missing or almost no sauce... too bad
