26/02/2026: With Korean cuisine becoming increasingly popular, there are many Chinese restaurants operating in Europe. I remember eating soft tofu stew near the Opera House in Paris, feeling suspicious, and asking the waiters if the owner or chef was Korean, but they couldn't give me a proper answer. Since then, I've been carefully checking reviews when choosing Korean restaurants. This time in Nantes, I made a reservation for a bibim box but ended up at the wrong restaurant, Big Bang. The name "Big Bang" was written here and there as "박방" (Park Bang), but they didn't realize it was a mistake. I was glad to see the writing, though. True to its name, Bibim Box specializes in bibimbab. We went for lunch, but couldn't get the dolsot bibimbap, so I had regular bibimbap instead. My French husband chose the tofu and pork. It's more like a rice bowl than a bibimbap. However, it wasn't overly sweet, and they had more vegetables than other non-Korean restaurants, giving it a homey feel. The price was also very reasonable for France at 12.5 euros, which was great. My husband was also satisfied with the tofu rice bowl.

13/03/2026: Hello, I must congratulate you on the warm welcome and the cleanliness of the restaurant; it was truly excellent. Many French restaurants are not at your level; they should take note. I recommend this restaurant even if the service isn't always top-notch, as the staff are very kind. Don't change a thing, and best of luck to everyone. At the end of the meal, a small glass of sake was offered; many restaurants don't do that. I'll be back very soon.

20/02/2026: Their chicken spring rolls are the best in Nantes, and I say that having tried probably more than half the Asian restaurants in the city center and the food stalls at the Petite Hollande market (there's nothing interesting there, if you're wondering). The Mi Kha Thai is also very good, quite generous portions, and I particularly appreciate that you can add more herbs to your liking: they always provide plenty! And the service is always friendly too :) There's not much seating for eating in, so I recommend going alone or as a couple, or getting takeout.

17/02/2026: We arrived before noon and were lucky because after another table of two sat down, everything was full. A very pleasant surprise, as we weren't familiar with Korean cuisine. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We would definitely go back.

16/02/2026: The cashier at the counter clearly showed dislike for Asian customers through their gaze and contemptuous behavior. It wasn't just about us being customers; their attitude was clearly prejudiced against fellow Asians, showing they didn't welcome us.

04/01/2026: Birthday lunch A wonderful time was had. The person in the kitchen and dining room was extremely kind and attentive. We highly recommend the Chinese fondue, which was a real treat and transported us to another world! We'll definitely be back.
