11/12/2025: We came as a couple on a weekend evening.
The concept of table service is appealing. However, the restaurant operates on a 5-course tasting menu, served in 5 rounds (25 plates in total). The name sounds enticing, but the reality is disappointing. The plates are sparsely filled, practically empty. I ordered sashimi, and there were only 3 pieces on the plate, but I had to order 3 more to feel "satisfied." Needless to say, consuming all 5 plates per round is quickly accomplished. You also have to wait 5 minutes between each round. Overall, you wait 20 minutes to order. If you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for you.
The same goes for the spring rolls/sushi/maki, with only 2 or 3 per plate. The rounds can be completed quite quickly if you're hungry. The menu also lacks variety. The desserts are very limited and offer very few choices. As for the quality, the maki arrived broken and the rice didn't stay on the plate. The soup bowls were good, but the portions were small.
It's a shame to have a good concept but not know how to use and diversify it properly. What we've noticed is that the prices are high, which limits customer consumption and allows the company to maximize profits.
We tried and compared La Croisière in St. Maximin. This restaurant offers a much wider variety of choices, where the buffet system allows you to eat your fill, with no limit on the number of plates you can take (whether they are full or not). There's something for everyone, and all kinds of food. This allows them to stay attuned to customer expectations.
Regarding the quality of the food, the Miyako is inferior to that offered at La Croisière. It's of lower quality. We won't be returning to this restaurant.
Only the service, provided by a waiter, was professional. We only appreciated that.

€72 for three, which is very expensive for the service received.

28/12/2025: Very disappointed – food poisoning
I have been a customer of this restaurant for three years, but unfortunately, after recently buying sushi, we suffered from food poisoning. We all vomited and had severe diarrhea all night and the following day.
This is very worrying and unacceptable for an establishment we have frequented for so long. I hope the restaurant will take steps to prevent this from happening again.
I am sharing this experience to warn other customers and to highlight a serious food safety issue.
27/11/2025: The spring rolls were very good, however the noodles were extremely oily. I didn't eat them because they were swimming in oil; there was at least 2 cm of oil at the bottom of my container. It's a shame because they looked very good.

My box has even been adapted to my allergies.

These restaurants need to stop; you're paying way too much for this... Never again! 70% of it went in the bin! Shameful!

23/04/2024: Restaurant that offers dishes (especially Chinese) full of flavors! Caramel pork is a delicacy that we never tire of and is a reference when we go to other restaurants.
The portions are not huge but it is unlimited, which avoids waste I think. The servers are welcoming and discreet at the same time. I've been going there for years and unfortunately I often have the same negative points:
The waiting time between each order can be quite long (20-25 minutes) and in winter it is REALLY cold in the restaurant area, what a shame not to heat it more, especially when there are people in the room.

29/08/2024: Asian restaurant that I discovered today thanks to a friend, the staff is very friendly, they all have a smile, it's nice to see. The food what can I say other than that it is excellent I took the B menu for 10 euros and frankly for the plates that we were served I find it very suitable.
