Gourmet d'asie sur Compiegne

Mixed feelings about our visit this Saturday at lunchtime. The restaurant was quite quiet, and we were greeted and seated quickly. We were disappointed with the meal. The sushi wasn't fresh, some dishes were barely warm, and some of the fried food was very hard; we even wondered if it had been reheated. We found a long black hair in our stir-fried noodles. We don't know if it came from the kitchen or from the customers when they served themselves. The caramel chicken was very good, as were the spicy shrimp. The staff cleared the plates very quickly. It had been a while since we'd been here. But we were disappointed with our meal; the quality has declined, which is a shame because it doesn't make us want to come back.

Yes, yes, you can find just about anything on the buffet... and quite a lot of things that aren't really Asian 😂😂😂 But having said that, the food is still good, the choices are there... and the staff are quite friendly.

Very good Chinese restaurant, with lots of choices!

I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The welcome was professional, perhaps a little too reserved. The decor is tasteful, the atmosphere pleasant, and the large round tables that can seat several people make you want to come with family or friends. Everything seemed clean and well-maintained. The buffet offered a huge selection, with beautiful presentations, especially for the sushi and the various appetizers. I was able to try several hot dishes: the spring rolls were excellent, the crab cakes very good, the caramel pork and the roast pork delicious, as was the beef with onions. The salt and pepper shrimp could have used a little more seasoning for my taste, and the octopus was slightly tough, but overall everything was very good. And then the desserts… a true delight! There was an impressive selection: several kinds of tiramisu, verrines in all sorts of flavors, various cakes… I particularly loved the strawberry verrine and the little bunny-shaped flan—a real treat. Finally, I had a cone with absolutely incredible Italian ice cream, next to a chocolate fountain. A real treat! Honestly, I highly recommend this place: lots of choices, fresh ingredients, a lovely setting, and very affordable prices. I left completely satisfied.
