29/04/2024: Living in a rather isolated area I need to freeze the bread as I can't possibly go to the bakers on a daily basis. I tried other bakers but when I defrost their bread, the crust falls off and I end up with something I don't even fancy eating. However, Marie Blachère's bread is excellent both fresh and defrosted. As to their croissants, I don't think you can find better in town. They're delicious. Love this place. Also, staff are very pleasant.

19/11/2023: I strongly advise against it, we arrived at the restaurant we waited more than 30 minutes to be seated and when we were seated we had to wait 1 hour to order and be served the service was very long then I ordered a dish which arrived cold and which was not good I ordered several starter trucks, dessert.. which was no longer in stock I am sorry to have waited so long for it.. disappointed! I really advise against it, there were a lot of free tables but we refused a number of people in descent and we accepted after refusing some! It's absolutely not happening and they refused it (even though there were a lot of free tables) and then they accepted a family and we were served before us even though we were waiting for a long time.. very disappointed and too long. waiting for the result!

09/05/2024: CATASTROPHIC!!!! The worst restaurant of my life!

07/05/2024: The restaurant gives the impression that it is permanently closed. Inside reception non-existent. We had to go to the counter ourselves to understand why no one was coming to see us. We are received with a shy hello, and they tell us curtly that it will not be possible to eat at their place (or very late), without any apology on their part. I understand that it can be full, but that's no reason to treat customers like trash. You won't see me set foot here again, I prefer to give my money to people who are truly commercial and who want to work properly from start to finish. Bye.
