19/12/2024: Yes. Yes. Yes. Just do it. And what a deal for such filling, fresh and tasty food that hits your stomach so gently. The Turkish people obviously know how to do Mediterranean food justice but this place in terms of value, quality and above all else- service and ambience of comfort made this random find all the better. Found a quality Turkish spot to frequent during my annual trips to Paris.
Go the house lentil soup- feels simple but the body of the soup is there along with nice spices that build up without attacking your taste buds. The beef dish that is a part of the 25 euro menu (includes and appetizer and dessert too) was LOADED with all sorts of grains, veggies and well season French fries. The dessert were the pistachio rolls with honey- oh my friggin goodness. Quality. The appetizer was their red pepper and olive hummus with a healthy serving of their toasted warm pita bread- excellent.
I failed to take enough photos because I couldn’t resist digging in.
17/12/2024: I came back here after several years: service always with joy and good humor, dishes transporting us to the Bosphorus Strait in one bite, and all at an affordable price and in a very beautiful neighborhood which is no longer in to present. I recommend.

10/12/2025: It's rare to stumble upon a Georgian restaurant that seems to have been preserved from the ravages of time, an authentic place where every detail tells a story. This one is among those hidden gems, remaining true to its roots, without frills or artifice, where you feel like you're stepping into a Georgian home rather than an establishment designed to please.

11/12/2024: An English pub worthy of the name in Paris! Warm atmosphere, comfortable setting, excellent service. I only tried the breakfast but it was delicious.
09/12/2024: A very nice place, or rather bar, with giant screens for watching football matches, and plenty of tables for meeting up with friends. This evening I was present for the signing of the author Arthur Macua on the occasion of his latest book on Henry Miller, took the time to have drinks and discuss American literature, and to enjoy fish & chips. Friendly atmosphere, I recommend

25/11/2024: Soy de Nueva York, de visita en París. Es mi último día y necesitaba comprar algo de boeuf bourguignon. Me crucé con este lugar, vi que el interior se veía genial.
Diré que cuando entré por primera vez, el olor era un poco raro, pero la iluminación, la decoración, la música y el ambiente en general era ideal para una cena tranquila y parisina temprano. Tenemos sopa de cebolla, la mejor que he probado en mi viaje, y el boeuf bourguignon era absolutamente estelar. No podíamos dejar de hablar de ello. Lo comería todos los días de mi vida si pudiera.

10/12/2024: The staff are welcoming and helpful, a real positive point in this establishment. However, the beer offering leaves something to be desired. During my visit, no craft beer was offered on tap, and apart from a can of La Débaume, the choice remained very limited.
The establishment seems to focus mainly on Belgian beers, but even these were not all available, which is unfortunate. There are too few beers from other countries, which takes away from the diversity and character of a true "academy".
In a context where micro-breweries and craft beers are booming, this establishment seems to be lagging behind. Two beers mentioned on the menu were also unavailable, adding to my disappointment.
The Beer Academy should seriously consider modernizing its menu and opening its horizons to meet the expectations of fans. An evolution is necessary so as not to sink into oblivion.

16/08/2024: I went yesterday and I must say the experience was very disappointing.
As soon as we arrived, we were greeted poorly by the waiter, who was rude and unprofessional. Despite the fact that we were the first to arrive, he ignored our table and served other customers who arrived well after us. This was particularly frustrating and disrespectful.
When our sandwiches were finally served, they were of very poor quality. The bread was dry, the ingredients seemed stale and the taste really left something to be desired.
In addition, hygiene left something to be desired. The tables were dirty which added to our general discomfort.
In summary, between the deplorable service, the mediocre quality of the dishes and the questionable cleanliness, I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. It was an experience I don't want to repeat.

The selection of teas is magnificent!!!
13/09/2024: We stopped in on our self guided tour of the Latin quarter for a mid afternoon snack and ordered tea and the apple pie. This was absolutely a delicious choice with a light pie crust on top of sliced baked apples with raisins filling the bottom of the dish. Highly recommend.

The salmon tagellas are delicious, although the presentation is strange.
We ordered water separately. 1 l - 7 euros.
I also saw a range of prices for desserts. Tiramisu - 3. Creme brulee - 7 euros

17/07/2024: Cette semaine à Paris, c'est devenu notre endroit préféré, à tel point que nous y sommes également passés aujourd'hui pour terminer notre séjour en beauté.
02/07/2024: Yerba was extremely rude. Although the wait for service was long we were going to stick it out until the ride server named Yerba charged us $2 Euro each because we had used the restroom while waiting! My family and I would’ve gladly waited longer but the ill treatment and insistence on payment by Yerba forced us to move down the street to Chatelet where we enjoyed much more friendly service and delicious crème brûlée and a 2021 Chateau Neuf de Pape. Avoid St Jacques and the unfriendly service here at all costs! Plenty of other wonderful restaurants in the Latin Quarter to have dinner without brusque, non French ownership.
