01/03/2026: During our quest to discover Rouen's couscous restaurants, my friend Philippe and I stumbled upon Le Machacha.
Reservations were easy for lunch, and the welcome was warm.
There's parking nearby, the dining room is airy, and we had plenty of space, peace, and privacy to chat.
The couscous was delicious and plentiful. It was one of the best couscous dishes in Rouen—light and creamy.
It was hard to follow such a generous portion with dessert. We'll have to try it next time!
Because we'll definitely be back!

29/01/2026: A lovely little restaurant with an absolutely charming owner who runs everything single-handedly! We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, from the meat dishes to the vegetarian options and the pastries! I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

15/02/2026: We went to this restaurant for Valentine's Day.
Given the occasion, the service was a bit chaotic. One waitress for several tables. The management was complicated. The service was very slow. The food and drinks were served after a long wait.
The food was good. The blend of flavors was very interesting and took us on a culinary journey. My partner loved it, I liked it a little less. But I would say I enjoyed my meal.
The staff and the manager were very friendly.

06/03/2026: A friendly place, perfect for one or ten people. The background music is pleasant without being intrusive (you can easily have a conversation). My meal was generous and delicious, the couscous and vegetables were unlimited, and the service was attentive and perfectly met my expectations. I come back regularly because the promise of a good time is always there.

04/01/2026: We reserved a Too Good To Go basket for Sunday, January 4th, between 3 pm and 4 pm. We arrived at 3:20 pm and discovered that the restaurant had permanently closed. The announcement for the basket was posted online yesterday morning. How is it possible to scam us like this when the restaurant has been closed for several days?! This is a huge scam! We are extremely angry and want a refund!

Already the prices are way too expensive for the quality and quantity of the products.
Furthermore, we were shocked by the behavior of the waiters who forced our table neighbor to pay and eat an extra dish that he had not ordered.
Even if there has been a misunderstanding between the customer and the waitress, we do not forcefully put a dish on the table. The waitress only had to ask the customer what he wanted if those words weren't clear to her.
In the end she didn't know how to give us change correctly.
I have never seen this in a restaurant that really should be avoided!!!!

01/09/2024: Welcome, the snack bar is small but beautiful. We had tacos. It was a bit long, the sandwiches were good (just a bit too salty). Prices are correct.
06/08/2024: Last night I ordered a raclette and chorizo gratin taco and I only had the raclette on my tacos, the delivery took longer because it was game night so I received my order 30 minutes later late than the hour give with no excuse, and since I ate my tacos I have stomach cramps
