21/11/2025: BEWARE OF FRAUD! We saw the google reviews, but nothing else was open nearby, so we tried our luck. The food wasn't bad in our opinion, everything was fresh and hot, just very unsalted. However, when paying, the waiter tried to charge 1953.5 euros instead of 53.5 euros, thank goodness the limit on the card was blocked...
12/11/2025: Beware, there's a smoking area outside and the food isn't great at all. I had salmon pasta which had no flavor, no salt, and was bland, and a Caesar salad which was also very bland. I won't be going back; it was a bad experience. There's a much better place next door.

18/09/2024: Have come here for a nice salad at lunchtime since So Green opened.
Visited yesterday, place very quiet where as you used to have to wait in a queue to be served. The salad and other items were much smaller, our spinach base was not fresh and succulent like it used to be, it looked small, dry and shrivelled up.
Tables weren’t being cleaned properly, staff seemed unmotivated.
Definitely won’t visit again, we’ve had much better, less expensive salads from a takeaway or boulangerie.
Hope this feedback helps you to get back on track.

23/09/2024: Je tiens à préciser que cela fait 18 ans que je vais dans cet établissement.
Mais là ce n'est plus possible.
Nous étions tout un groupe pour leur faire découvrir une de nos adresses préférées, nous avions réservé, à notre arrivée tout s'est bien passé, le jeune serveur était agréable.
Un de nos convives ne pouvait pas trop manger, il a donc pris une petite salade Coleslaw histoire de pouvoir nous accompagner tout de même.
Nous avons été servi et à la moitié de notre repas toujours pas de salade en vue, nous avons donc gentiment "été voir" le serveur (sinon personne) qui indique que c'est bien commandé mais que le problème vient de la cuisine.
Petite précision il est 21h, il n'y a quasiment personne
Nous patientons, mais là nous avons déjà terminé notre plat, nous réitérons notre demande auprès du serveur en lui exprimant notre mécontentement et que ce n'est pas dirigé contre lui, au passage nous recommandons une pinte et bien celui-ci nous envoie carrément "caguer" et c'est bien le mot et qu'il n'y peut rien. Un manque de professionnalisme total.
5 minutes plus tard (45 minutes après avoir commandé...) il apporte le plat et là on rit jaune, une petite tasse avec une cuillère à soupe de coleslaw on en reste bouche bée, 50 minutes pour ca !!
Toujours pas nos pintes, on en profite pour lui demander la carte des desserts.
Au bout de 15 minutes, rien, pas de pintes, pas de carte des desserts nous avons donc décidé de partir, avons payé et été voir la responsable "de ce service" et vous savez quoi rien, "on est navré", aucun geste, aucune attention, un menfoutisme total.
Je n'ai vraiment pas pour habitude de descendre un établissement aussi durement mais là on sent un laisser aller total.
Plein de petites choses été à la baisse, nous n'en tenions pas rigueur mais là c'est le pompon.
Alors vous savez quoi et bien dorénavant vous pouvez vous carrer vos pintes nous n'y reviendrons pas.

Cocktails are strong enough and pretty cheap compared to cone restaurants/bars.

27/09/2024: Service was slow after they make you pay for your drinks up front. Got a Long Island iced tea and couldn’t taste any alcohol at all. After returning the drink and letting the server know there was no alcohol taste (in a drink that has 5 different types of alcohol), I waited another 5 minutes for them to bring back the exact same drink and rudely explain to me that you’re not supposed to taste the alcohol because it’s a cocktail??
26/09/2024: Not sure how this bar classifies as Australian? There is not even 1 Australian beer on tap available. And the food, also not Australian. The only thing Australian about it as was the cheap portraits of Australian animals, and the term “blokes” used on the doors to the bathroom.
However the beer selection was good if you want euro beer

29/09/2024: Hello! The Trekking Pawns here! Wondered around looking for food and what ultimately stopped us here was the smell. We looked at the menu and decided to give it a try. We couldn’t decide what we wanted and saw a sign for a set menu. So we gave that a try. We kept seeing people get the mussels and so we tried that and it was fantastic! The rest of the food was mediocre though. The Bouillabaisee smelled nice but didn’t taste as nice. I’ve always wanted to try it, but did expect more flavor. The table bread came with no butter or olive oil, just mediocre bread. The salmon was cooked well, but didn’t have as much flavor as we’ve had before. The crème brûlée for dessert was lovely but the tiramisu seemed just put together and then lady fingers not soaked in coffee, just a cake in creme with cocoa on top. The setting in the street was nice, but a bit chilly as the sun went away. No heaters provided at this time of year.
26/09/2024: Deception and
disappointment. Waiters are young and unprofessional. They gave only one piece of butter and piece of lemon to a portion of oysters, it's a shame and stinginess. Brought an already opened bottle of water to our table, as they often serve free water in many restaurants in Nice, but then included it in the bill for €5.50!!! The ashtray was brought when we were about to leave. It seemed that all employees, together with the owner, were tired of guests and work, although there were no guests in the restaurant, we did not feel friendly from them, none of them even smiled during the dinner. Good luck, draw your own conclusions, I described my true impressions. There are many other restaurants in Nice with good food and excellent waiters, where I leave a tip with pleasure

The reception is deplorable. The prices of the sandwiches are excessive compared to the quality of the products.
But the worst undoubtedly remains the pitiful state of the establishment. Very dirty and very dusty. A word of advice: don't look up to see the light fixtures, the beams full of dust just above the food 🤢. To flee!!!!
11/11/2024: Very dirty establishment already in the morning at 8:30 a.m.... Deplorable hygiene, there were very few customers but all the tables were dirty.
The light fixtures and ceilings are covered in dust just above the counter where they prepare the sandwiches.
Very high prices for sandwiches compared to the quality.
In short, to avoid
Too bad for Nice airport!

08/09/2024: L'endroit tire ces trait du vieux Nice dans un style jazz bar avec des groupes en Live music etcdoté d'une excellente clientèle habituelle le Shapko reste un des meilleurs Club nocturne de Nice qui offre un autre éventail de choix que les discothèques
29/08/2024: This place is such a treasure. It is a GREAT space to listen to amazing bands and the setting, the sound , the service, all just really quite special. GO, I'm a full-time musician and the talent is top notch. Ibe been there 3x and each time the band blew me away. I'm going tonight.

04/09/2024: I ordered a cannelle and cappuccino while waiting for my train. So, the cannelle was really delicious, but the coffee was terrible 😅 The same happened with my friend - she really liked her dessert, but couldn’t drink the coffee as it wasn’t good at all. I think it would be better if we bought water or tea instead of that cappuccino.
