04/06/2026: Unbelievable dining experience. Deserves its Michelin star. Every course was excellent and the wine pairing was very interesting with a combination of French and South African wines. The cheese room is so unique, photos and a review don’t do it justice. Edit - I also just want to say that I had a recent issue with a gift voucher that the director handled extremely professionally and kindly so I really can’t recommend this restaurant enough

The food is sourced and of high quality, and you can choose between a gourmet menu or relaxed bistro fare. The wine list is exceptional with very attractive prices. We've been there as a family, with friends, and as a couple; the formula works perfectly, and we can't wait to go back. Thank you again!

30/05/2026: I went back to this bar where I'd been with friends who were regulars; and this time the welcome was disrespectful, almost rude. A completely surreal experience. Clearly, they didn't like the look of me. What a shame: I work nearby and live in Nice. I'm not some passing tourist they can just make fun of.

07/06/2026: We had the tatare and the beef redwine stew. Both was balance and nothing was missing. Just tje portion of the beef stew was a little bit small. Homie vibe (21€beef tatare&30€beefstew)

05/06/2026: This place is truly a hidden gem. It’s small with only a few tables. The server Ivan was excellent with his recommendations and English skills. I had the tartare and it was the best I’ve ever had. I cannot recommend this place highly enough

16/05/2026: We had booked a table for a family meal with elderly relatives. Two days before, they informed us that there was a neighborhood meal and it would be a bit noisy. On the day itself, there was a sound system, so we cancelled. That's just not acceptable.

16/05/2026: My friend has left this world, for his time had come. I came to this place, where I cherish fond memories of times spent together, to symbolically raise a glass with him once more. What does this have to do with this website? I recommend, if you can, that you go and create your own memories at Restaurant Le Safranier. Delicious dishes, sparkling wines, and a warm, family atmosphere in a pleasant setting will create the backdrop for moments you'll cherish.

16/05/2026: It makes you feel like you're in a Japanese izakaya (pub). The staff's attentiveness is warm and wonderful. The food isn't incredibly delicious, but the sashimi, fried chicken, and rice balls were good.

I discovered the generously portioned charcuterie platter and the fish, cooked with passion, worthy of a gourmet restaurant in terms of presentation, taste, and overall quality. My partner savored the incredibly tender meat and fresh vegetables. The service was pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed lunch in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A big thank you for this wonderful and enjoyable experience; a true delight for our taste buds. I highly recommend it!

25/05/2026: Excellent! Delicious food made with fresh ingredients, which is so refreshing. A lovely little restaurant with wonderful staff and a fantastic chef! I highly recommend it, but be sure to book ahead as we almost missed out – it was fully booked. We'll be back very soon! 👏🏼

26/02/2026: I tried their tacos and I wasn't disappointed! Generously filled, piping hot, and delicious. The fries on the side were perfect. Fast service even during peak hours. A great place!

16/11/2025: Discovering this incredible place was a revelation. The food was beyond delicious, and the owners were as welcoming and warm as their cooking was authentic. The ingredients were excellent and expertly prepared; you feel right at home. We won't forget this wonderful experience!

18/05/2026: Second visit to this very cute restaurant in the port of Nice. Everything was perfect: delicious dishes (octopus for me and ribeye steak for my partner, tiramisu, and cheesecake), attentive waiters and owner, and the dining room is adorable! I highly recommend it and will definitely be back soon! And here comes the third time... I'm coming with my old school friends this Friday evening 😁 See you very soon then!!!

17/05/2026: I took the seabass fillet and, upon reccomendation, the tiramisu. Both were delicious, the fish perfectly prepared. Service was quick and warm, special thanks to Fadoua for her friendliness and professionalism. A great place with a lovely view over Nice port, I will be back! Thank you.
