23/12/2025: Last night's meal was very disappointing, despite the truly lovely setting. The decor is beautiful, unique, with a real Alsatian charm; the place is pretty and inviting… but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. As for the food, it was a complete disaster: • Extremely fatty salmon, not good at all, served with a potato pancake that was completely tasteless, without pepper, and utterly lacking in flavor. • Sauerkraut that clearly tasted like canned sauerkraut—flavorless, with undercooked potatoes. Attached are photos after I finished eating! 🤢 • Apple tart advertised as "homemade," but served at a supermarket price, tasteless and lacking authenticity. The value for money is clearly not there. It's a real shame because the place has potential, but the food just doesn't live up to it. In my opinion, there are far better restaurants in the village and surrounding area. I do not recommend it.

29/10/2025: We regularly eat at L'Alexain. The food is very good. The dishes are beautifully presented. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The service is quick. The setting is magnificent. It's a place where you feel comfortable. We highly recommend it.
