28/03/2024: I stumbled across this restaurant online when trying to find a restaurant that’s open on a Monday and serves escargot - as my boyfriend has never tried it before and wanted some before we left. We are so happy we found this place! The interior of the restaurant felt like home. It was intimate, cozy and comfortable. The service was amazing. The menu was in French but the man (whom I assume is also the owner) who served us was able to translate and tell us all about the menu. The chef even came and checked on all the guests. They were so sweet to bring out the dessert and sang happy birthday to my boyfriend. It made the evening incredibly special for us. Thank you ♥️ For our starters, we ordered the mussels in butter and parsley on top of lettuce and the escargot. Both were phenomenal! For our main, we got the beef in black pepper sauce (it’s got a nice kick to it) and the stuffed rolled chicken. Again, delicious. For dessert was get the tarta tatin. A bit sweet for me but it was tasty. My boyfriend was singing praises for the food which is rare. If and when we come back to Marseille, this would be one of the first few places we will return to. Tip: Make a reservation. As we witnessed many walk-ins being turned away because they were full.

25/03/2024: Small, very friendly restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent and generous homemade cuisine. An excellent moment of exchange. The sea bream was great! Thanks to the chef and the gentleman for the service. I recommend 100%

02/04/2024: We ordered granola and brioche. Everything is very good, small portions, but that's how they eat it in France. Nice service. Great atmosphere inside and excellent music complements everything.

29/04/2024: THE neighborhood pizza, wood-fired, very tasty. Simple and well made, the dough is thin. Mutti sauce. Good ingredients. It's not the Neapolitan, nor the pizza truck. The pizza of Marseille! Just the one that we won't be able to eat when we have to buy it on Amazon... I've been ordering from them for 18 years. Top team, coal-fired owners. No credit card. And please, when you live nearby, please take the time to order and pick up your pizzas yourself.

21/04/2024: To flee !!!!!! The pub is run down! It smells musty! The benches and chairs are in catastrophic condition. The worst is the staff!!! The waiter is execrable and the worst is the manager who explains to his regulars (who look like drug addicts) out loud in his pub full of rugby players that he can't blame rugby and rugby players (but he's good happy to take their dough). Rugby friends, some advice: don't go there, stay around the Vélodrome where there are nice bars. To flee !!!

04/03/2024: It is possible to choose your wine there, It is also possible to eat there, the dishes are particularly elaborate and their association with wines is just as good. I ate a very good beef tartare, tender and well seasoned, accompanied by a mixture of salad and baked potatoes. We were recommended a red, a quite surprising Pinot noir 👌 The dynamic server, very knowledgeable about wine, a pleasure!

24/04/2024: Close to St Victor Abbey, a magnificent local setting on the port. A nice sharing concept, helpful staff. But a little noisy for my taste. It's complicated to park

20/04/2024: Superb discovery. You get what you pay for, the dishes are plentiful and delicious. Cozy atmosphere with musical background is very appreciable. Plus the terrace is sunny until 8 p.m.!

With Ida, Pierre and their accents from the south of France, it's an all-inclusive trip: homemade meals with fresh produce, local wines, and KaraoKe. The atmosphere is fabulous, the customers are like the owners: simple and friendly. We all sang, we all danced... until closing time. Awesome ! Remember to book 😊

30/03/2024: What an amazing concept. Great service, and the atmosphere was amazing. They make you feel at home. So many lovely French people. Ida and her husband were super nice. Also, our waitress was amazing, helping us out because we don't speak French. An overall amazing experience and will definitely visit again next time we're in Marseille. I think giving 5 stars is an understatement. They deserve 100!
