31/03/2024: Great place for a brunch with family/friends, or simply a coffee + delicious scones, everything is fresh and homemade, atmosphere (English breakfast) with a smile and kindness from the staff.

03/03/2024: Superb discovery this morning with this charming tea room. We were delighted by the cozy atmosphere, the very welcoming staff and the absolutely delicious brunch. It has definitely become our new favorite place for a relaxed Sunday...

14/11/2023: I tested a week ago: - Scones that are not scones, very small, barely bigger than a chouquette and overcooked - an apple cake with uncooked dough The new manager is nice but the atmosphere is cold. Apart from the small sofa in the back, the surrounding decoration is non-existent. Ah...on the other hand...we put beige stars on the walls, Christmas decoration like everyone else! What is the purpose of the wall mirror when entering on the left? It makes the atmosphere even colder. Get advice if you want a more cozy place. The chairs, the tables...well everything... It's a shame, we feel that the manager is not motivated, she is just passing through her professional career and we can see that her job has nothing to do with it. see with the tea room. I wrote all this to be of service to you, so that you understand that there is an effort to be made, there is no malice on my part. 29/07/2023: Please note, Tiffany's is now called "La petite théière" following a change of ownership... We love the concept: fresh salad to compose yourself (sheet with options to check) and prepared on the spot by the manager. Copious plates, extra fresh, with quality products. We had a blast. You can also opt for pastries or ice creams which are excellent (Movenpick) for those with a sweet tooth. In addition, a wide choice of hot drinks to enjoy, including a selection of tea also on sale, with very interesting blends. All at very reasonable prices (mixed salad €9.50, ice cream €7, tea on average €7 per 100g. Something to treat yourself 😁

30/12/2023: We arrived at 12 and were very well received. We all left delighted after a very good value for money snack! The service is impeccable, the staff is very friendly, they installed us under their heated patio despite our large arrival that day. The service was quick and they gave us time to enjoy our pancakes and waffles. Thank you very much !

16/11/2023: Pleasant café restaurant in the center of Saint Astier with a very beautiful, beautifully flowered terrace at the back of the establishment, in a quiet area. I had forgotten a pair of sunglasses there more than 6 months ago... and the team very kindly kept it for me, I thank the kindness and seriousness of the boss. 5 stars!

16/03/2024: A first for us, the reception non-existent (manager) we wait 45 minutes without being served, the waitress realizes that there is a problem (order problem) we wait another 20 minutes, the dishes are good but nothing more !!! And we wait another 20 minutes because we forget our dessert again, the manager doesn't know how to move to apologize, luckily he has a great waitress!!! If we hadn't paid on arrival we wouldn't have been so patient.

08/10/2023: Malgré un cadre très agréable, une chambre agréable également et une restauration tout à fait convenable, nous avons été très déçus par l'acceuil. Nous avions réservé directement sur le site de l'hôtel pour une nuit avec demi pension; et lorsque nous sommes arrivés, vers 20h20, nous n'étions pas inscrits (on ne nous retrouvait pas informatiquement). Il y avait néanmoins une chambre disponible où nous avons pu poser nos affaires et attendre tranquillement qu'une table se libère puisque le restaurant était complet. On a vraiment eu le sentiment qu'on dérangeait mais tout ca a été exprimé avec le sourire!! Le lendemain matin, au moment de régler, nous n'étions toujours pas enregistrés, nous avons donc donné le tarif de notre réservation et, nouvelle surprise, cet établissement censé accepter les chèques vacances ANCV, ne les accepte que sous le format papier et non en format dématérialisé; fallait-il le savoir. Toutes ces petites choses nous laisse un goût amer, dommage

24/08/2023: During our stay at the campsite we dined several times at the restaurant and were able to taste the different dishes. All very good and most of them homemade! Cooking, taste and flavor are there. Excellent duck parmentier!!! Divine duck hamburger to the point that my partner and a friend with whom we were on vacation took 2 each. Last evening I had the Périgord salad which was delicious. The fish is also very good as well as the homemade fries 😋 the cocktails and local beer are very good. I saw some comments saying that the service was long, frankly we didn't have that feeling, in fact one evening we waited a little longer than the other times but we were on vacation so the time 😄 the waitress is very nice and helpful , plus she speaks English fluently with perfection!! And always a kind thought (asked us if we wanted a bowl of water for our French bulldog) in short, a small restaurant which doesn't look like much but which is very good. Keep it up...it's very good. Thank you so much
