09/05/2024: Excellent evening with friends in front of a football match in this British-style beer and cocktail bar with small terrace. This brasserie is located at the start of the most Breton street in the 14th. Very good atmosphere, quality service, very extensive and diverse menus for drinking and eating.

04/04/2024: fortunately I didn't eat the waiter prefers to clean the windows in front of us than to take care of the customers the employee with glasses is very aggressive not professional to avoid

03/04/2024: Horrible to escape, we came to eat. We were two women. A poor welcome. We went to the toilet before settling down. They don’t serve us the card and when we ask for information the person at reception shouts “it’s okay, you’ve gone to the toilet”. We left the restaurant without ordering. No sense of service especially for women to avoid, ladies. There is dust everywhere!!!!

28/03/2024: A more than bad welcome, hello is optional but then the pastry that I chose was very disgusting, still frozen grainy pastry cream and softened puff pastry. In short, the coffee was more than bad. Nothing else to add except the dining tables that the waiter did not even deign to try when bringing us our order. To escape truly terrible experience. 31/10/2023: June 2023 Update: Unfortunately the Rive Gauche is Gone! We had to visit this summer ourselves to find out. Locals told us hotel so dependent on foreigners it could not survive pandemic. Here are recent photos we took. I lived here From 2017-2019 and it was terrific. Unfortunately I think Covid wiped this hotel out. The Marriott app was not listing it as a possible stay this summer. And website continually say sold out. I assume they went out of business or Marriott sold them. If someone knows actual situation please post.

30/03/2024: We went there 2 days in a row as part of a training course and I will say 2 different experiences: the 1st day the dish (red meat) was good, the dessert less so and the service rather pleasant; on the 2nd day the dish was bland (carbo pasta which only seemed to be pasta on which we had put crème fraîche, bacon and an egg, no seasoning and even less parmesan), the dessert like the day before was without much interest (cold crème brûlée both inside and caramelized crust) and the service was fast but just friendly.

27/03/2024: I recommend this seemingly very simple establishment, but whose culinary quality is indisputable. It should be noted that it is Seb the boss who prepares and no one else, because he is very meticulous in his cooking. Everything is prepared on site, to order and therefore fresh and healthy. For 13.8€ you eat starter + main course or main course + dessert. Difficult to find such good value for money in Paris. We serve French cuisine specialties. Regarding the cuts of meat, the boss knows his stuff. For my part, I never tire of a great classic, the steak with garlic fried potatoes and cheese sauce. The desserts are on display with essentials like the crème brulée which is pharaonic.

31/03/2024: I went there for a too good too go and I was divided with these 2 sandwiches. I was first surprised by how few things he had in the too good too basket (indicated at 12 euros). I pointed this out to the seller who replied "1 sandwich 6 euros so 2 makes 12 euros, there's no mistake". For those who are fans of surprise baskets you know that we generally have several loaves of bread, pastries and pastries and we really get what we pay for. Clearly I left the bakery super disappointed... 2nd surprise the composition of the sandwiches which were already small, really small and in addition with a deplorable garnish: a salad leaf cut in two, tomato chiffonade which was not even slices given the thickness and 3 poor pieces of goat cheese. The other sandwich was the same style but with chicken. As much as I took them too good too go so it bothers me less than if I had bought them at full price. I find it a bit shameful and of course I will never set foot there again. Honestly move on at least for the sandwiches
