A lovely surprise.
Excellent in terms of taste.
The duck breast was delicious and the small gratin was a delight.
The dessert was very mild, not too sweet, a nice balance.
The decor and furniture were nice, but not the food; it lacked comfort and refinement.
The only downside was the acoustics; the restaurant remains noisy when busy. That was the case for us. The place isn't wheelchair accessible, but we managed.
In short, we recommend it.

A beautiful place blending rustic charm and a touch of magic, perfect for families or couples. This kind of tea room deserves more recognition.
Judging by some of the reviews, I must have just caught them on a lucky day.

31/08/2026: Very disappointed, and unfortunately, this isn't the first time. The problems seem to be becoming a regular occurrence: a very long wait, about 30 minutes this time, a problem with the payment, and then an incomplete order.
I had to ask for a missing item while I was there, and once I got home, I realized something else was missing.
When this type of problem keeps happening, it becomes frankly frustrating. There's clearly a lack of rigor in order preparation and verification. The staff also need to be given the necessary resources to be more efficient and provide adequate service.
Unsatisfactory service that needs serious improvement.

18/08/2024: Auf einem großen Platz mit Wasserspielen vor einem historischen Gebäude präsentierte sich dieses Restaurant mit der Außenbestuhlung. Im Inneren sah es etwas chaotisch, unsauber und renovierungsbedürftig aus.
Die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Vorspeisen, pochierte Eier mit Käse- oder Champignonssauce (en meurette) waren lauwarm. Anstelle der Pferdesteak mit Pommes und Salat erhielten wir Pferdehack mit einem Ei überzogen. Der Inhalt des Hackfleisches gibt allerdings noch Rätzel auf. Es war nicht unsere Auswahl und die Qualität nicht überzeugend. Die Salatblätter hatten angefaulte Ränder und waren welk.
Da andere Restaurant nicht geöffnet oder bereits komplett belegt waren, mußten wir auf dieses ausweichen. Es war eine Notlösung und nicht zu empfehlen.
