12/03/2024: Very good meal, the small complaint was a little long wait for service and between courses, but we were on the terrace with beautiful sunshine so it was good.

22/04/2024: Since there has been a change of ownership at Subway Challans, portions have decreased and prices have increased.
It's April 22, I went to get a chicken sandwich and came back to my workplace with a bread sandwich.
This is the last time I go to Subway. I would advise people to go for cheaper kebabs and more quantities.

30/12/2023: I don't usually leave bad reviews on Google. But this evening’s grotesque situation deserves to be told to as many people as possible.
After placing an order at the bar for 4 people (it is 6 p.m.), I ask for a small piece of bread for my one-year-old baby (who is teething). The waiter replies to me with disconcerting confidence, surprising tact, and it goes without saying, boundless kindness, "that they have just enough bread for this evening, and that they are not in the habit of giving bread for free.”
Shame on you, young bartender tonight, for guarding your precious pieces of bread so jealously, your generosity will end up ruining you!
23/12/2023: The atmosphere was cool and it's nice, especially in the middle of December, to find this kind of place where people are smiling, having fun in a good mood, and some cool and nice music!
The hygiene was mediocre in the room as you could see, after all it's a pub and it was 11 p.m.... The prices of snacks and others are a little expensive in my opinion. The beer (draught) was also average.
Not enough staff to handle orders.
But it's still a place I could come back to.

01/05/2024: There is so much character in this chateau & you feel like living in the past. I took a 3 day stay, the feeling is just wonderful. The hosts Nienke & Ariel are warm and attentive, no request goes unattended. The place is as clean as any international chain 4 🌟 hotels despite its historical character & decoration. Remember, not every chateau will leave you with memories as beautiful as this.

24/08/2023: hello brozers, I ordered a tacos with meat (without meat), my meatless tacos with only fries, cheese sauce which resembled michi sauce, incredible taste. the bread was burnt like my grills in the morning, fries without salt, tasted like cardboard. Coke not fresh, I felt sick as soon as I drank it. Server that looked like Naps, so that saved the thing a bit

30/12/2023: Some people are critical...well I'm sorry to contradict them but the welcome is very warm, the pancakes, pizzas etc are excellent, refined cuisine with very good value for money. And don't forget that some customers allow themselves to speak badly to managers, with a total lack of respect...we have noticed it! You have to know how to be patient given that there is a lot of work and to side with the managers and the waitress. Thank you for them because they are not dogs...we must be respectful, be patient and be kind!

31/08/2023: A little disappointment regarding this place where we usually go. This year, the mood of the waiters (especially waitresses) is not good except for some who are very pleasant. The oysters were a few degrees too hot to be excellent but it's still a place to try during your stay on the island. Be careful, places on the upper terrace are expensive, so get there early!
