12/09/2026: The terrace and setting are magnificent. We didn't have the pleasure of trying the food, but the show put on by the owner is worth its weight in gold. Special mention to Boris, who certainly wasn't on his first drink of the afternoon 🤫. If you're looking for peace and quiet, look elsewhere, or come at 10 a.m. instead! 😜 On the agenda for our gourmet break: The owner's almost over-the-mic greeting: We politely ask for a non-alcoholic Spritz. The owner addresses the entire terrace: "Please applaud, these people are asking for a non-alcoholic Spritz! This isn't Paris!!" Thanks for the sign; the irony was on the house. The custom (but imposed) order: No menu. A sign announces "homemade strawberry melon ice cream." We simply want ice cream and drinks... The result? The owner insisted we order just ONE Strawberry Melba for two and a carafe of water, repeatedly saying, "It's cheap!!" We hadn't asked for "cheap," but whatever… The show continued: He brought what seemed to be the only sundae available at that hour (a single scoop of vanilla ice cream, a few strawberries, whipped cream, and two cookies) and prompted another round of applause from the other customers. We weren't sure if we were in a restaurant or at a farcical comedy show. He was so over-the-top that he came back to us saying, "Wait, I forgot the cherry on top!" and returned with two more cookies because he'd forgotten he'd already put some on the sundae. 😂 When it came time to pay, the supposedly cheap sundae came to €14. Having only €10 in cash, we pulled out our credit cards. Bad idea! A theatrical crisis: he refuses to process a €14 card payment "so as not to pay taxes to Mr. Mac…" and "not to finance weapons for the UKR…". He grabs our €10 note and puts the remaining €4 on his SumUp terminal, yelling: "Are you Yellow Vests or what?!" 😮 In short, a quirky local institution with an owner who has absolutely no filter. If you like absurdist theater, go for it. Otherwise, try the morning or the bar next door!! 😆

06/09/2026: A unique and unforgettable experience. The owner's hospitality was exceptional, the food delicious, and the place absolutely charming. His stories and experiences made our visit even more special. I highly recommend it! Thank you, Boris!
